Video – Three Clips From the Supernatural Season 5 Premiere – Plus BONUS Spoiler

It’s almost time, fiends – time to salt and burn! In one week Supernatural will return with “Sympathy For the Devil”, and will present us with an honest to god Lucifer to, possibly, sympathize with. Chances are, though, we’ll be rooting for Supernatural‘s dynamic duo of brotherly beast hunters Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester to sent Mr. Splitfoot back to hell for an extended appointment with Dr. Faustus. Lots of spoilers out there already, and we recently had that iTunes clip to whet our appetite, but now the entertainment gods at theCW have shined on us with three new clips from Supernatural’s highly anticipated fifth season premiere. Click on for more info, and of course… the clips.
First, here is the official description for Supernatural “Sympathy For the Devil”

APOCALYPSE NOW Picking up where the finale left off, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) watch as the Devil (guest star Mark Pellegrino, ‘Lost’) emerges from Hell. The brothers and Bobby (Jim Beaver) deal with the aftermath of Lucifer rising and the stunning news from Chuck the Prophet (guest star Rob Benedict) that Castiel (Misha Collins) was blown to bits by the archangels. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Eric Kripke (#501).

As for that bonus spoiler, here is the newly minted description for episode 5.03 of Supernatural, “Free to be you and me”

ADRIANNE PALICIKI GUEST STARS Not sure he trusts himself anymore, Sam (Jared Padalecki) decides to give up hunting, but a late-night visitor (guest star Adrianne Palicki) won’t let him off the hook that easily. Dean (Jensen Ackles), intent on stopping the Apocalypse, continues hunting on his own and teams up with Castiel (Misha Collins) to find the Archangel Raphael, as Castiel believes Raphael knows God’s location. Miller Tobin directed the episode written by Jeremy Carver (#503).

And now, the clips.
