Unfortunately for Trauma fans, NBC has decided not to order any additional episodes beyond the 13 they originally ordered. Presumably, NBC will continue to air the remaining Trauma episodes until they are finished, but production will wrap after the 13th episode is completed.
This, of course, leaves a spot open on Monday nights for Chuck. NBC had previously annouced that Chuck would return as a mid-season replacement, but had only ordered 13 episodes. Now, however, the network has opted to order…
Chuck just might be one of the best little guy getting a second chance stories out there this year. When faced with possible cancelation, the cast and crew of Chuck jumped to attention and got their most devoted fans excited and spreading the word. They were successful in their campaign to bring their show back for another season, and also successful in closing a deal with Subway, who was the winner in the Save Chuck campaign that suggested fans…
Chuck left fans with an interesting proposition: which is Chuck suddenly had the skills of a super spy to match his intersect enhanced intelligence abilities? Would we still have the lovable fish-out-of-water Chuck that we have now, or would the show transition to a dark, more realistic flavor? The answer seems to be: both. Jump on through for Chuck spoilers.
Zachary Levi weighed in recently with his views, and thanks, on Chuck being renewed for another season by NBC:
To sit back and observe the way in which Chuck was renewed was simply remarkable. I am so blessed to be a part of producing something that, when it appears to be at risk of disappearing, those loyal to it join in solidarity, and literally speak, march, work, buy, share, and will it back into existence. To know that such a…
Yesterday Chuck fans everywhere rejoiced as they proved that buying a $5 sandwich from a show's top advertiser can make a difference. In the end, one has to wonder if any of this was really necessary, or just a fantastic ploy by NBC to not only get the word out on Chuck, but to also keep us talking about it for the past two weeks. Regardless, our sources say that Chuck will be back, though possibly with some changes.
The deal that…
In the 2009-10 NBC schedule, “Chuck” is still an unknown. NBC has announced that “Heroes”, “Southland”, and “Parks and Recreation” will have new seasons along with six new series.
The lobbying campaign to save “Chuck” that critics and fans have been running the last few weeks has still been going strong. Hope still exists for this show and others as NBC has stated that, “additional series pickups” will be announced on May 19th when they reveal the 2009-10 schedule.
Another show…

NBC today announced its fall plans, giving advertisers a partial look at four new dramas and two new comedies it will add this coming fall’s schedule. While they did give 4 existing shows a renewal, the remainder of their “on the bubble” series hoping to return next season continues to be up in the air, including Chuck and Law and Order.
Ben Silverman, co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios had this to say at the event…
Chuck fans, this is your last week to impress the brass at NBC. Chuck star Zachary Levi has told E!Online that NBC will NOT announce a renewal for Chuck at the NBC upfronts on Monday – so unfair! On the other hand, Chuck fans should be encouraged that the brass is considering the show so carefully, this would be the perfect opportunity to rev up all of those save Chuck efforts. While I definitely don't think that Chuck fans should let up for one second, I…

On Monday, NBC will hold its upfront presentation with advertisers, and reveal the pilots they'll pick up this fall, as well as the returning shows. Early industry buzz says that things are looking great for a third season of Chuck, and a second for Amy Poehler's Parks and Recreation. There is also some buzz beginning on which pilots are at the top of the list of shows the network will run this fall.
On the comedy side of things, it's…
In one short week, the broadcast networks will begin what is known in the television industry as the Upfronts, which is the time of the year each of the networks meet with television executives, media representatives, and the all-important advertisers to give them a sneak peek at what each has to offer for the upcoming fall schedule. The meetings include which new pilots have been picked up for series, as well as which shows have been renewed, and, finally,…
Corpvandolay here with this week's recap of Chuck. As we approach the end of the second season, these stories are increasingly "mythology-based", building upon the storylines from previous episodes. If you've missed any of the last few episodes, I recommend catching up before you proceed. You can find those recaps here. Now, on with the show…
