Schedule for Remaining Dollhouse Episodes & Joss Whedon's Reaction
Posted by Clarissa on November 11th, 2009

Earlier today we reported on the fact that Dollhouse had been canceled by Fox, but the network had committed to airing all 13 episodes for season 2.

io9 has posted the schedule for the remaining episodes:

UPDATED: Fox Cancels Dollhouse (Seriously Cancelled….For Reals)
Posted by Clarissa on November 11th, 2009

Poor Joss Whedon.  He just can't catch a break.  Fox recently annouced that Dollhouse was being pulled from its schedule during November sweeps and people were disappointed.  I suspect they'll be even more disappointed with the news that the network has officially canceled the show.

They are currently filming episode 11 of their 13 episode order,  and according to EW, Fox will likely air all 13 of the completed episodes before removing the show from the schedule.

UPDATE: While the Futon Critic originally…

Dr. Horrible Sequel Coming Along
Posted by Bryan Jones on November 3rd, 2009

If you're a fan of Joss Whedon or Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, then chances are you've known that a sequel would be coming for some time now.  Joss confirmed that himself and the rest of the creative team were working on a sequel back in August and now Nathan Fillion has let slip to MTV News that the process is continuing to come along, and there's even a title.

"There are plans.  The media for the sequel has not yet…

Joss Whedon Bids $10,000 for the Terminator Franchise Rights (In Typical Hilarious Whedon Fashion, Complete With a Letter!)
Posted by Clarissa on November 2nd, 2009

For those of you who don't know, the company that currently owns the rights to the entire Terminator franchise (Halcyon) is experiencing some (serious) financial difficulties and is auctioning off the franchise rights in an attempt to secure some cash.

Firefly's Mal Reynold Returns in Castle (video)
Posted by Bryan Jones on October 27th, 2009

I would absolutely love to say that Mal Reynolds brief appearance on Castle last night was a wonderful surprise to me, but I'd be lying.  You see, while it was wonderful, it was hardly a surprise.  The web was abuzz with the rumor of the Firefly reference all last week and a grainy production image even made it onto the web.  I had almost posted about it myself, but the graininess of the image and uncertainty made me decide to…

Is The End Near for Dollhouse?
Posted by Howey Davenport on October 22nd, 2009

I don't know what can be done to save Dollhouse. Languishing in the ratings cesspool on Friday nights, Michael Ausiello has announced via Twitter that Dollhouse will be shelved by Fox during the all-important November sweeps period, replaced by reruns of House and Bones:

Exclusive: Hearing FOX will bench DOLLHOUSE for November sweeps and air back-to-back eps on Friday night in December.

The Futon Critic reports that Dollhouse will return in December showing two episodes per night, apparently burning off the remaining episodes.

You certainly…

Whedon Does Glee
Posted by Jon Lachonis on October 19th, 2009

Just when you thought Glee – let alone Joss Whedon – couldn't possibly get any cooler, they have.  FOX has already announced a full season order for Glee, which probably surprised no-one, and now Ausiello has broken the news that Joss Whedon will be directing one of those episodes.  Whedon famously turned Buffy The Vampire Slayer into a musical for an episode with universally praised results, so odds are he'll be able to handle the musically inclined Glee.  The…

Dollhouse Confirmed to Air All 13 Episodes, But When?
Posted by Bryan Jones on October 13th, 2009

Its no secret that Dollhouse hasn't been doing well so far in its sophomore season.  The first couple of weeks of the show saw some of the lowest numbers for the series to date.  But fans can rest a little easy, as Fox has announced that they WILL air all 13 episodes currently ordered for season 2.  However, just when they'll air them might be the question fans need to be asking right now.

Fox's scheduling chief Preston Beckman told The…

Dollhouse Crew Makes Season 2 Promises
Posted by SpoilerGuy on August 26th, 2009

There has been an overwhelming amount of buzz and press the past few weeks over the upcoming season 2 of Dollhouse, and I must say, after only watching a couple of episodes last year, and then being a bit bored with it, I'm as excited as ever to watch this show again.  In fact, this might be the first show ever that I've chosen to stop watching, out of dislike for the show, and then gotten fired up to…

Jamie Bamber to Guest Star on Dollhouse
Posted by Bryan Jones on July 29th, 2009

Although the full details are sketchy, news broke yesterday that Battlestar Galactica alum Jamie Bamber (Lee "Apollo" Adama) will guest star in the season two premiere of Joss Whedon's Dollhouse.  According to Michael Ausiello Bamber will be involved in an engagement with Echo (Eliza Dushku) and handler Paul (Tahmoh Penikett).  This will be the first time since the end of Battlestar Galactica that the two stars, Tahmoh Penikett and Jamie Bamber, have shared the small screen.  Bamber has most recently been…
