Episode 2.20 "CTRL:A" (February 13): Caleb's involvement in cracking "A's" phone has had Hanna worried from day one and now "A" is determined to punish him for it. With Det. Wilden and Garrett now circling Caleb on bogus hacking charges and in possession of his computer, Hanna and her friends are convinced that this won't end well. What are the police looking for on Caleb's computer and better yet, would could "A" have possibly planted on the computer to interest the police this much? Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer may soon get another example of what happens to people they involve in "A's" game. Meanwhile, Aria learns what Holden's been keeping a secret as Byron starts to question the relationship.

Episode 2.21 "Breaking The Code" (February 20): Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have been the target of "A’s" games for awhile, leaving them emotionally cut off from their families and friends. But when a surprising new victim of "A" is revealed, the Pretty Little Liars' tight-knit group may just get one person larger. But what is "A’s" motive of targeting someone outside of Alison’s group of besties? Meanwhile, Spencer runs from her family troubles right into Wren’s arms, as Ezra’s new opportunity could push him away from Aria.

Episode 2.22 "Father Knows Best" (February 27): One father has a guilty conscience, one has a daughter he doesn’t trust, one is hiding a secret from his daughter and the other father is MIA – all-in-all it is not the ideal time for Rosewood’s annual Father-Daughter Dance. With the Pretty Little Liars fathers looking to make amends and daughters trying to keep the peace, the annual dance looks to be anything but fun. Meanwhile, Ashley continues her hunt to find answers about what is going on with Hanna with help from a surprising source.

Smash Preview: All the Details You Need to Know (Plus, Sneak Peeks)

Smash is a show about the making of a star. Premiering tonight on NBC, Smash is also a show about the making of a Broadway musical - including the hopes and dreams of those trying to make it big and the back-stabbing that occasionally goes on behind the scenes. But lest you think Smash is all about the business of Broadway, rest assured that it's got heart, which is conveyed through song and the relationships between the characters.

Some big names are attached to this new series, including EP Steven Spielberg and the producers of Chicago and Hairspray. Experienced choreographers and composers have put together the impressive song and dance numbers that appear throughout each episode. There is a great deal of talent behind and in front of this show and it is one of the best new pilots of the 2011-2012 season.

Don't listen to anyone comparing Smash to Glee. There is such a marked difference between the two shows that any comparison is not worth listening to. Beyond the fact that both shows are essentially musicals, they couldn't be more different. Smash is a far more adult look at what it takes to succeed in a difficult business and takes place in a world where grown-ups are grown-ups. This level of drama and maturity is not always seen on Glee, which is perfectly acceptable since that's not really what Glee is about. Also, if you're a bit frustrated lately with Glee's lack of continuity about storylines and characters, rest assured that the quality of the story in Smash is superior.

To help get you ready for tonight's premiere, we've put together a handy character guide to introduce you to all of the players in Smash. Keep clicking the arrows below to browse through our gallery of the main characters. The final page contains sneak peeks for the premiere.

Smash debuts at 10:00 p.m. EST tonight on NBC.

Nikita: Melinda Clarke and Xander Berkeley Tease Amanda & Percy's Master Plans & What's to Come

Forget Nikita versus Division, the real - and nearly deadly - rivalry on Nikita is Amanda versus Percy. Amanda managed to shoulder her way into the top position at the beginning of season 2 by taking over Division and locking up Percy in a Silence-of-the-Lambs-type cell.

All along, however, Percy has been manipulating events even while trapped in his prison beneath Division. In the last episode of Nikita, he managed to instruct his Guardians to take Oversight hostage, thus putting them, and Amanda, in a quandary: do they agree to let Percy escape from his cell or sacrifice their own lives, and the lives of everyone inside Division?

We recently spoke with both Melinda Clarke and Xander Berkeley, who teased this week's big showdown between their characters and hinted at their plans to come.

Percy's Escape from Division. Rest assured, Percy will definitely be making his way out of his cell and Division in this week's episode. Melinda teased that "we’ve been all wondering for the entire season how Percy is going to get himself out of that box. He succeeds - I can’t tell you how exactly, but he definitely ends up outside of Division. It’s a very difficult decision for Amanda, but it’s wonderful. These storylines [to come] will be very exciting because Percy will be outside”. Percy, of course, will be pleased to finally escape, but the situation won't be without its problems, as Xander revealed: "It’s a bumpy ride for us all. It doesn’t go the way Percy had hoped it would, ultimately, but neither does it go the way Nikita hoped it would. We thwart one another and live to see another day."

Percy's Master Plan. Percy's initial goal, of course, is to reclaim Division. "It still irks Percy that it was taken away from him", Xander explained. But Percy is no longer content with just running Division. His plans are far more wide-reaching now. "There’s a clue in the scene when Ryan is there in the cube with Percy", Xander explains. "When he says ‘I’m aiming at a higher place’. [He's aiming for] what would constitute heaven on earth for Percy, I suppose, which would be MOAR POW-AH! It’s been hinted to me that that hint is what his ultimate aim is. That he wants to go beyond the U.S. and beyond Oversight and into what is really pulling the strings and calling the shots on a global arena." Expect the Guardians to continue to help Percy in his quest, Xander hinted: "They are the means by which he might be able to get out and about in the world and move with some protection. Patrick and Roan [and Percy]...the three of them will constitute a triumvirate of sorts and you will get to see that very soon." But first thing's first, Percy does need to reclaim Division before he can go global. "Even though Percy has a grander design, ultimately, in the short-run, he wants to use recovering Division as a means to get to greater global access."

Amanda's Plans. Percy might be aiming for global control, but Amanda's plans are far more subtle. Melinda said that "Amanda has her own plans. Percy’s might be world domination. Percy probably needs to be in the spotlight, whereas Amanda would be happy to be the puppeteer from behind. I think it would fabulous if Percy and Amanda could get over their differences and come back together, but I don’t think that would happen for a long time." Could these plans involve the person that Amanda called from a hidden cell phone in the previous episode? "Yes, in the next few episodes it will be revealed [who was on the phone]. She definitely has her own master plan and has been working behind the scenes with somebody for quite a long time. I’m excited about the storyline and I think the audience will be pleasantly surprised." Could the still-imprisoned Ryan factor into Amanda's plans? "Yes, my little pet", Melinda laughed. "We’ll see some more Ryan for sure."

What Will Happen With Division and Oversight in the Near Future? Amanda will remain in control of Division, even when Percy gets out, Melinda confirmed, "but that future could definitely change. Oversight’s future is pretty rocky right now. And the future of Division is very rocky. There’s definitely going to be some big changes coming up."

Amanda and Percy's Relationship. For the last several episodes, it's been hinted that there was a deeper relationship between Amanda and Percy besides them being work colleagues. In the previous episode, Percy flat out confronted Amanda about it, telling her she was incapable of love. Naturally, we had to ask Melinda whether she thought that was true and what Amanda really thinks about Percy: "I think that they’re just so angry with each other for what each other feels the other betrayed. Amanda really believed in this partnership that they had in running Division. And he broke that. So she’s very, very angry about that. He’s so angry to have been imprisoned by her that he’s trying to hurt her in the only way he knows how. I don’t necessarily think that it was a ‘love’, like aphysical relationship. I think it was beyond that. They’re such egomaniacs, it’s bigger than that. But when he says ‘you’re incapable of love’, it’s because he knows it’s that one little spot that he can dig in the knife for her. And also it’s more about regret. Now she’s forced to put him into this coma and she doesn’t want to." And what about that uncharacteristic mini-breakdown we saw from Amanda after Percy delivered that emotional blow? Well, the Ice Queen will be firmly back under control. "It’s a rare moment that she can actually be swayed and Percy is the one person who can do that to her."

Will Nikita and Her Gang Continue to Bring Trouble to Amanda's Door? "Absolutely", Melinda confirmed. "Every episode. Nikita always gets in the way of Amanda’s successes. In this episode that’s coming up [on February 3], it’s almost like they’re kind of forced to help Amanda, because they’re doing the right thing. It’s almost like 'pick your battles. What’s the lesser of two evils at this point?' So they end up, of course, always being intertwined in each other’s lives."

The Mysterious Carl and the History of Division. A little while ago, Nikita mentioned a woman named Carla to Alex, telling her that it was the disappearance of this kindly woman that caused Nikita's downward spiral that led to her imprisonment and being recruited by Division. Mentioning Carla was not a fluke and she will actually play a very important role going forward. "There’s a new character being introduced for a while - Carla - and we see interesting dynamic that was there from the beginning with Amanda and me", Xander hinted. Melinda actually linked Carla with the history of Division itself, saying "Her storyline will help reveal how Division became Division. So obviously then Percy, Carla and Amanda are all linked. That’s an exciting storyline and there will be a lot of flashbacks. We’ll get to see the 1998 version of Amanda and her character is very fascinating. I’ve always said, whatever you see on screen, there’s other things going on. All kinds of chess moves being made. I don’t think anything’s every really a coincidence on this show. That storyline will be very exciting."

Amanda's Control of Alex. In a recent episode featured Ryan sharing Percy's cell in order to gain more information from him about Division and Oversight, Percy said that Amanda's control over Alex is far from absolute: "Amanda's lost control of her girl." Of course, we had to ask Melinda whether Alex will be a loose cannon, especially now that she's reconnected with Nikita and her friends: "I think she’s just being a very patient ‘mom’ with her. She knows she needs Alex, for sure, because of Zetrov, but there’s always a chance that Alex could pull away. But I feel like Alex needs Amanda too. They’re definitely still kind of give-and-take in that relationship, but it could go either way at any time."

An all new episode of Nikita will air tonight at 8:00 p.m. EST on The CW. With Amanda and Percy facing off once again - and soon to be taking their rivalry to a larger stage than a cell beneath Division - we're certain we're in for some exciting episodes. Watch a trailer and sneak peek for tonight's episode below.

Grimm: Co-Creators David Greenwalt & Jim Kouf Preview February Episodes

With fantasy legends and fairy tales arguably more popular than ever NBC offers Friday night audiences classic fables inspired by The Brothers Grimm, reinterpreted by series co-creators and genre masters David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, on Grimm.

Last week both Executive Producers took questions in a conference-call, I was lucky to be a part of, celebrating the series' strong Friday ratings and previewing some exciting guest appearances coming up throughout the month of February.

Will & Jake Grimm authored a little over two hundred stories, but as David Greenwalt explains, "Some of them are a little hard to adapt. Our conceit is that all the writers of fairy tales were in fact some kind of profilers." Still, with such pop-culture prominence of late one can't help but wonder about the underlying cause for the recent resurgence of fairy tale and fantasy fare. "Two words," David (amusedly) surmises, "Public Domain - at least from a business point of view." Continuing, "People love these stories, and there’s a reason they’ve been handed down in both written and oral form all these hundreds of years and they still have an appeal. On Grimm, we're not only fracturing old fairytales, we're telling stories about what's going on today framed in a fairy tale context." Jim Kouf adds, "It gives us the opportunity to explain human behavior in a very bizarre way."

Having the Grimm lore to draw from doesn't necessarily make the writer's job any easier by the way, to the contrary, in one sense it makes their job doubly complex. Jim acknowledges, "The biggest challenge is to have two explanations for everything. Something that could’ve happened in the real world and something that, you know, has a Grimm story."

David Greenwalt confesses, "I love taking a procedural show and just having a guy turn into a Blutbad, you know, or a Bauerschwein. It’s just so much fun because it feels like I’m watching a regular kind of procedural show and then suddenly there’s critters. We’re going to explain war and famine and all the ills of the world - and it’s all because of these crazy critters out there." Jim jumps in, "They’re called Wesen." "Yes, that’s all the different creatures - all the different Grimm creatures are called Wesen. And it's pronounced Vesen. But people don’t know that so I call them 'critters'," Greenwalt reveals, "and they’re not all bad. Some of them are good." "It's a pretty deep mythology and we're just cracking the surface right now," Jim teases. "It was kind of the plan all along to bring in more mythology as we get deeper in the series," David admits, "but we don’t want to bring in so much that your average everyday viewer can’t watch the show. So there’ll certainly be a case of the week if not a monster of the week every time, but in these back nine, you're going to see a lot more of the personal and back stories of everyone. I love it when there’s an emotional resonance in the stories." Kouf eagerly promises, "We’re going to start revealing stuff."

February will not only bring more action, intrigue, and monsters to the party, it'll also usher in a succession of talented actresses providing our monster-hunting heroes some rather formidable and beautiful opponents. Amy Acker and Valerie Cruz both guest star this month, and, Bree Turner will soon be joining the cast as a recurring guest (read more about it here). Greenwalt confirms, "The addition of Bree was really important to us and she's got a great role." Kouf adds, "The female characters in the Grimm Fairy Tales, and all fairy tales - some of them are some pretty bad women." Valerie Cruz (Alphas, Off the Map) plays a doctor with a monstrous secret tonight in a story about homeless siblings, Hanson and Gracie, titled "Organ Grinder."

I asked if we might see more 'Buffyverse' thesps guesting on Grimm as the series progresses towards its (hoped for) second season? I specifically mentioned the recent event-casting of James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter on Supernatural reuniting the pair for the first time onscreen since they last shared credits in Joss Whedon's 'Buffyverse.' "I'd love to work with Charisma again - any of the old gang. We've actually been thinking about how we can get Tony Head onto the show if he'd want to do it, we've thought quite a bit about that." David Greenwalt continues, "We have Amy Acker coming on in a couple weeks to play a kind of Black Widow like you've never seen before." I took a moment to personally lobby David & Jim to bring back Jaime Ray Newman's (Angelina Lasser) character as often as possible to which David replied, "Well, there’s a reason she went off into the night." Kouf enticingly interjects, "We didn't kill her." Responding to a subsequent questioner Greenwalt further shares, "A little down the line, probably in April, we have Azura Skye (American Horror Story, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) coming on playing a bird-like creature with many hidden talents and gifts."

* Social Media Update: Immediately following this Q&A session I tweeted Charisma sharing David's (above) quote. Soon after C.C. tweeted the brief (though telling) reply, "D.G. was Cordy's champion."

Given the pairs' previous professional association with writer-director Joss Whedon (The Avengers), the possibility of Whedon's potential involvement with Grimm was most definitely addressed. "He’s got to come do one for us. I mean, of course, we'd love to have him write, direct or do craft service, you know" David joked.

With even more supernatural-themed shows set to debut soon on multiple networks, it's natural to wonder if audiences may be in danger of fantasy overload? Are Grimm's co-creators concerned that like programs will result in a fairy tale glut? Kouf scoffs at the thought, "I don’t think it really matters. Our job is to keep the writing strong and the shows strong, and hopefully we’re delivering good entertainment every week. That's our job." Greenwalt humorously reinforces Jim's answer, "I think if a show is good is what matters. The rest doesn’t really, you know, matter."

Lastly, on the subject of renewal David Greenwalt concludes, "Well, we'll do twenty-two episodes total this season. We're shooting Episode Sixteen as we speak. We’ve got plenty of mythology waiting for Season 2, and we’ve got plenty of good things to come. We'll find out sometime between now and May," proclaiming proudly, "it looks not unpromising at this point."

By now we know that everyone's favorite bad girl returned in this week's 100th episode "G.G."(And she might also be Gossip Girl?!), but what we don't know is what other shenanigans she'll get into much later. For that, EW asked executive producer Josh Safran. “The Valentine’s Day episode is very fun,” Safran says. “Georgina Sparks — you can’t get more fun that than. She’s here for a long stretch and whenever she’s around it’s super fun.” You heard him, guys. Georgina is here to stay.

And if you happened to miss the momentous 100th episode "G.G.", you'll definitely want to check out our review here to catch up on all that you missed.

Also, don't forget to check out a photo preview of next week's episode "The Backup Dan".

The Lying Game | Are Ethan and Emma going all the way? Word from E!Online is the pair are about to get a lot closer. In the Feb. 27 episode "Weekend of Living Dangerously," Ethan, Emma, Laurel, and Baz all head out on a road trip to Coachella. But soon the group find themselves staying overnight in a small town motel after their van suddenly breaks down, leaving Ethan and Emma with a room all to themselves. Ooh la la! Let's hope Sutton is nowhere to be seen this time.

The Good Wife | Who’s returning to face off against Alicia? According to Huffpost TV, Mamie Gummer (Off the Map) is set to make her fourth appearance on the show as the deceivingly naive young lawyer Nancy Crozier. In an upcoming episode, Crozier will represent the family of a suicide victim against Lockhart/Gardner, forcing Alicia to fight fire with fire by bringing Caitlin (Anna Camp) onto the team.

But will this put Caitlin in Alicia's good graces? Not so fast. TVLine reveals that Caitlin's partnership with Alicia will quickly takes a turn for the jealous side once the blonde assistant starts getting a little too much credit. Zing!

And which Cheers alum will soon be presiding as a judge? Bebe Neuwirth, who played Frasier Crane's wife on Cheers and later his ex-wife on Frasier, has been cast in a recurring role as the sexy but stern Judge Friend, EW reports. Her first case involves the fight for control of a financial firm where matters get even more complicated when the witnesses for both sides appear to be lying.

Plus, what's ahead for Cary and Dana? Nothing good, according to TVLine. Following Dana's part in the Wendy Scott-Carr trainwreck, Cary will be asked to reveal the news of her demotion. But that's not all. Just wait until Peter finds out about the fling the two had last fall. He is not going to be happy.

Alcatraz | Will Rebecca ever let Doc in? You know what they say: Rounding up escaped convicts from the 1960s is the best at bringing people together. Seriously though, it's just a matter of time. “I like that Rebecca is not quick to trust people,” star Sarah Jones admits to EW. “But there’s a relationship that’s built. Sometimes they have a moment together and sometimes she pushes him away. It allows them to get to know each other and learn how to trust each other.”

Episode 13 "Sex and the Suburbs" (Wednesday, February 8): Tessa enjoys rubbing it in Dalia's face that Scott Strause chose her over Dalia. However the closer Tessa gets to Scott, the more nervous George becomes. When George discovers a box of XXL condoms that Lisa has given Tessa, he becomes obsessed and starts planning game night with her friends in hopes of keeping her at home more. Meanwhile Tessa soon discovers that the more time she spends with Scott, the less attracted to him she is.

Episode "The Body" (Wednesday, February 15): When Tessa realizes that she's failing gym class, she decides to run for student body president in hopes of changing Chatswin High's obsession with sports. During the election, Lisa steps in as Tessa's campaign manager against Kenzie and Kaitlyn. Meanwhile, Ryan is injured during a wrestling match and finds himself mourned by his family, and George takes Ryan under his wing and introduces him to people who have moved forward from setbacks.

Suburgatory airs on Wednesday nights at 8:30 p.m. on ABC.

Gossip Girl 100th Episode: Did Blair Marry Louis? What Happens Next?

So who predicted the end of Gossip Girl? A lot of people thought that Blair wouldn't go through with the wedding, but I guess we were all wrong. As she prepared for her big day, Eleanor Waldorf herself went to visit Chuck and said that he should be present at the event. After all, she was very concerned about her daughter's happiness. While Chuck seemed determined to respect Blair's wishes and stay away from the ceremony, he did end up making a visit at Eleanor's request.

The action moved to the church, where Georgina had decided to sneak in to see if she could seduce Louis and humiliate Blair. Rufus and Lily put the kibosh on that plan pretty quickly, but Georgina had another ace up her sleeve. When Chuck finally saw Blair - moments before she was set to walk down the aisle - he begged her not to go through with the wedding. She admitted that she loved him - that she would always love him - but she was determined to go through with the wedding. After Blair left the room, Georgina dropped by to tell Chuck that she had just videotaped Blair's confession.

After Blair finally met Louis at the altar (seriously, I cannot get over her horrible wedding hair), Gossip Girl sent out an email blast and every (incredibly rude) guest at the wedding saw the video of Blair's confession to Chuck. The disgraced bride ran away from the altar and confronted Chuck, who denied sending the video to Gossip Girl. But despite the fact that he knows the truth about her "bargain with God" (thanks to Serena), she told him that she still can't be with him.

Moments later, Dan, Nate and Serena confronted Georgina, who denied sending in the video and accused one of them instead. Did they take steps to ruin Blair's big day?

In a surprise twist, Blair rejoined Louis at the altar and told the priest to proceed. That's right, Blair ended up marrying her prince, but here's the real end to the story: at the ceremony, he told her that he went through with the wedding, but it's a marriage for show only. She's to play the happy wife in public, but he's finished being humiliated by her. And she'll play the part until he's finished with her. Instead of heading to the airport for her honeymoon, Blair asked Dan for help and the two of them ran off together - albeit platonically.

Serena also made her own confession and told Dan that she loved him. He seemed a bit thrown, but she gave him an out for now and told him they could talk later.

But in the biggest shocker, the final scene showed Georgina writing a Gossip Girl post. Can it be?! Has she been the mysterious blogger this whole time?!?!

So what did you think of Gossip Girl's 100th episode? Did you like all the throwbacks to the pilot? What about Blair's decision to go through with the wedding? We know Georgina will be sticking around for a little while longer, so we can't wait to see what trouble she gets up to next. And what about this revelation that she's Gossip Girl?

A new episode will be airing next week on February 6. Dan and Blair are still in hiding and it seems like everyone else is trying to figure out what happened to the runaway wife. Watch a trailer for the episode below.

Just because we've already seen her woo quite a few men, doesn't mean there isn't always room for one more. Starting in episode 17, Rome countryman James Purefoy is set to guest star as Victoria's new love interest. And that's not all, Madeleine Stowe explains to TheInsider, "The next number of episodes, you'll see some of [Victoria's] origins. You'll see why she connects so peculiarly in such a strange way to people."

But first, who does Grandpa Grayson prefer, Victoria or Conrad? Well, let's just say that when the family patriarch, guest star William Devane (Knots Landing, 24), drops by on Feb. 8 in the episode "Perception" it won't be to support his son, Conrad. "Grandpa Grayson has very special affection for Victoria," Stowe tells TheInsider. "They adore each other and she's using him to turn the tables back on Conrad. He pumps some lifeblood into the show."

And most importantly, do we know yet who dies in episode 15? Though the cast of course couldn't say, Christa B. Allen was willing to tell E!Online, "I think some of us saw it coming." And the murderer? "We allude to who did it, but we don't confirm," Allen says. Viewers will "have at least three or four Clue suspects," Connor Paolo adds. "From the way the script is written, it hints that it could've gone a couple different ways." Keep the Daniel prayer chain going, everyone!

Franklin & Bash | What kind of misconduct is Jared involved in? The titular duo may have been lucky to get away with many of their courtroom antics, but very soon an Infeld-Daniels senior partner will be coming to town to investigate. Still, it's who comes along, too, that's going to be Jared Franklin's main problem. According to TVLine, Shiri Appleby (Life Unexpected) has been cast in a multi-episode arc as an associate that gets involved in some misconduct of her own with Jared after she develops feelings for him.

Criminal Minds | Is a Hotch-Prentiss romance in the cards? Fans were given a little bit of hope in the episode "The Bittersweet Science" that Hotch was ready to date again after his ex-wife's death, but showrunner Erica Messer says it's now actually Prentiss who still has a lot of healing to do. "I know a lot of people out there want those two together, and it’s not to say it will never happen," Messer tells TVLine. "But for right now, they’re not ready for each other."

Meanwhile, are Morgan and Garcia getting a little too friendly? After a fight with her boyfriend Kevin in the Feb. 8 episode "Snake Eyes," word is the two will get closer than ever before. “I will tease that she sees him in only a towel,” Messer reveals to EW. And in case you're worried the moment might go too far, Messer assures EW it's just a tease: “[Some] might wonder, ‘What just happened? Was that a dream?’”

Happy Endings | Which Dexter alum has a love for Steak? In an upcoming episode, Colin Hanks will put his serial killer past behind him to visit Chicago as a character he knows all too well - himself. EW reports that the actor is set to guest star as a new celebrity friend of Dave who wants to check out the biggest hotspot in town, Dave's food truck Steam Me Home Tonight.

And who is Alex's new boyfriend? Per TVGuide, it turns out the new guy, though he is tall and hot, is also a total dud. That is, until the couple fights and engages in some passionate make-up sex, then he becomes like a tiger in the sack. Rawr! Things quickly take a turn for the worse though when they resort to intentionally fighting in order to keep the love going.

Ringer | Will Henry find out about Siobhan? TVGuide has the exclusive one-sheet just released for February sweeps, which shows Siobhan and Henry getting cozy along with the ominous tagline: "He's on to her. And that's exactly what she wanted." Kristopher Polaha elaborated on this possible new development, "When Siobhan comes back to New York, and [with] Henry being such a strong part of her life, there has to be, at some point, some intersections."

And when are we going to learn Siobhan's agenda? Very very soon. "There's one singular incident that drove this gigantic wedge between the sisters and we're going to discover what that is," executive producer Eric Charmelo tells TVGuide. "And why Bridget is on this path of redemption and why Siobhan is on this path of revenge." Is it February, yet?

If you haven’t been watching, maybe Michelle herself can convince you to give it a shot! Michelle took the time to chat with us this week about her experiences on Fringe: covering everything from how the show is like an illicit drug to what it’s like to play a superhuman. Michelle also reveals the previously-unknown “shapeshifter” name of her character. The shapeshifter has been known only as Nadine, who was first introduced in the season premiere, and was seen most recently in last week’s episode “Enemy Of My Enemy”. I will say that I myself am curious as hell about what the shapeshifter name may signify…

And now I’ll let you get on to the good stuff:

TVOvermind: Had you been a fan of Fringe before working on the show?

Michelle Krusiec: I can't honestly call myself a fan prior to working on it, because that would make the real fans pretty upset since they are true fans. I watched the pilot and I was intrigued, but I'm not an avid TV watcher. Mostly because of time and lack of it, nothing to do with the show itself. I remember watching Fringe randomly one night earlier this season and I was totally confused by the two Olivias, but still, I was intrigued, and wondered what in the world the storyline was about!

What was it like to work on the show?

I was really giddy with excitement because it's a J.J. Abrams show and my character was just so awesome. I was told she was a new breed of shapeshifter, but I had no idea what the hell that really meant, in terms of the show's mythology; I got to work and started watching as many episodes as I could. The first episode I was in, I was mostly dead, and since it was raining in Vancouver, I basically watched 36 back-to-back episodes. I felt like some junkie hopped up in my hotel room. My curtains were drawn. I'd watch it in bed, from the bathtub, with room service. I couldn't stop watching it. I was completely hooked, and in complete awe of the storyline.

I'm such a sucker for sci fi because my Dad and I bonded over them growing up. Whenever sci fi is at its best, it makes you examine morality, ethics and the human condition: it really brings to light great questions and theoreticals about mankind and behavior. In the case of Fringe, I was really struck by this notion of how one man's mistakes affect two universes and the people in them. The way the writers explored these questions while still maintaining a procedural show was impressive to me. And then to top it off, the calibre of acting on the show was so striking. I felt like I had won the lottery to be invited onto the show.

What are some of your favorite memories and experiences from working on Fringe?

Some of my favorite moments include getting my face scanned for the digital effects and seeing a 3D version of my face on the computer. And I loved my character's name "Seven" because it's just a badass name.

I loved playing with the guns. I took that very seriously. I felt that a shapeshifter would move differently than humans and I wanted to be completely collected when I was operating firearms. I practiced rolling around on the floor and shooting, which I never did in the show, and the firearms expert even told me while I was doing it, “they probably won’t ask you to do that,” but I’d just keep on rolling around on the floor. Basically, any time I got to kick ass, I was giddy with excitement because Seven has superhuman abilities and you just don't get a chance to play characters like that very often. I was a little jealous whenever I had to shapeshift into another human being though, because another actor played that part. But it was also really awesome to see how they lined up my face with the other actress Lori Triolo's face so they could shift our faces together. It was odd how our features were actually very similar on camera. Who would have guessed I'd have Italian features?

Doing the shapeshifting in and out of characters was more challenging than I expected because it had to be subtle and it’s mostly digital effects so your face is like a canvas. The first time I did it, I just went crazy and after my first take the director Joe Chapelle just said, "Uh, make it smaller." That made me laugh, because I think I may have gone a little overboard with it. All the other shapeshifters made it look so painful, so I thought I was doing exactly what I'd seen on the show, but I was mistaken. There's a great scene where Seven is injecting herself with the formula to correct her genetic mutation that's preventing her from shapeshifting on command. I loved shooting in that bathroom because it was a small little space and any kind of transformation scene like that for an actor is really fun to do.

I also loved seeing Gene the cow. I wish I had taken a photo with her now… Can you tell that I had a blast shooting this show?

How did you approach your character?

I really developed Seven with an animal in mind. You're probably laughing, but I took this role very seriously. I felt like it was a great opportunity to work off of the pre-established mythology, and since Seven is a new breed of shapeshifter, I wanted to see what my imagination could come up with. Since I had three weeks off in between episodes, I developed this idea that Seven is a super soldier but with empathic capabilities. As a soldier, she has a direct mission objective she has to follow, but since she's also part human, she uses her ability to experience human emotions to convince Malcolm Truss to help her. I tried to find moments in the episode where she could emote like a real human being and play "Nadine", her human form, but then switch back to shapeshifter Seven. A lot of those moments didn’t make the final edit, because there’s just so much info packed into these episodes, but I had fun prepping it.

What made her different from other characters you’ve portrayed?

What makes Seven different? She gets to scale walls! She pokes guys’ eyeballs out! My stunt double, who was amazing, had to do wire work to scale that wall and I would have given anything to try the stunt myself: being superhuman is pretty much every kid's fantasy.

Was there anything you’d hoped to see explored with her that we didn’t really address? Given that characters never really die in Fringe, it’s not entirely beyond the realms of possibility that we might see her again someday…

I’m always fascinated when robots have emotions. I'm really intrigued by that. I had hoped that she would continue to work for David Robert Jones, but then begin to show signs of empathizing with the humans and switch teams. I also wondered what would happen if she and Olivia ever got into a bitch fight. Two badass women squaring off? That's a season finale, come on!

What was it like to be a rather central “baddie” this season?

I wanted more. I was very sad when I read that Seven gets shot. I think I went right into mourning, but what was really incredible was being introduced to the Fringies. I had no idea there were such loyal fans out there. I really didn't want to let them down. Although, having become a fan of the show myself now, I understand the addiction and the loyalty. There’s really nothing quite like it on TV.

What’s next for you? Are there any projects you’d like to mention?

I just wrapped a comedy called Nice Girls Crew. I'm waiting to begin work on the feature Relative Insanity, and I'll be guesting on Touch next.

Many thanks again to Michelle for taking the time to do this interview, and for the thought-provoking answers! I always find it fascinating to hear inside perspectives on my favorite show, and I find it rather wonderful that she turned into a fan after working on the show.

Spoilers: Will Bridget Spill Her Secret to Andrew on Ringer? That depends on which secret you're talking about. EP Pam Vesey was a little cagey on the details to TVLine, except to say, "Bridget has to come clean to Andrew on some really major secret that deals with identity.” My guess is the big secret will be something about her past, and they'll save Bridget's big reveal for the moment we least expect it.

Plus, what's this about someone being shot? Sarah Michelle Gellar recently chatted with TVGuide on the Golden Globes' red carpet, and she may have let a major detail slip: "Next week we're shooting a main character." Woah! Could this event take place in the past? Who do you think it will be?

And don't forget to check out these photos and a trailer for the show's big return "It Just Got Normal" on Jan. 31.

New Girl | Are Schmidt and Cece about to give everyone an eyeful? Per TVGuide, it seems like the strange and unpredictable twosome share at least one thing in common: their penchant for public lovemaking. Birds of a feather flock together and all that. What's more, in the upcoming Valentine's Day episode, Cece will get into a catfight with another girl over something that belongs to her. Could the something or someone in question be Schmidt?

And which Party Down star is stopping by the show? E!Online reports that Martin Starr (who was the hardcore sci-fi nerd Roman DeBeers on Party Down) will be playing Dirk, an old friend of Nick's from law school who recently broke off his engagement to his fiancée. Uh oh, drama and crying could be coming to the New Girl loft!

Switched at Birth | Could Regina be hiding another big secret? That's what the hospital involved in the Kennish's lawsuit would have everyone believe. The word from TVAddict is the hospital will soon take a surprising and desperate stab at Regina, and they'll accuse her of switching out the babies to cover up her alcohol abuse. Now, that's dirty.

Raising Hope | Is the Chance family really going to church? It appears so! According to E!Online, in an upcoming episode titled "Hogging All the Credit," Jimmy and the gang head to their local church and meet a blind organ player named Carl. Turns out Carl doesn't exactly have a seeing-eye dog, poor guy is allergic, but instead he's guided around by a seeing-eye pig! Still, the Chance family in church? I wonder if this pig flies, too.

Glee | Will Rachel accept Finn's proposal? While we won't get an actual answer until Glee returns next week with their big episode "Michael" on Jan. 31, there are a few pieces of evidence to help clue us in. First, there was the very important casting of Jeff Goldblum and Brian Stokes as Rachel's dads. And now, a recent paparazzi shot shows Lea Michele wearing the prized engagement ring while on set. The chances are looking good, guys!

Switched at Birth: EP Lizzy Weiss Talks Family Dynamics & Relationship Troubles Ahead

A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to talk with Lizzy Weiss, executive producer of Switched at Birth. After watching the first two episodes since the January return of the show, Lizzy took the time to speak with us again, giving us an update on what's to come and sharing her thoughts on the family drama that has kicked back into high gear since the show's return.

Was Angelo Lying? Angelo's reappearance in Regina's life has had consequences for everyone. Daphne is clearly upset that he abandoned her and her mother when she was younger. Bay seems eager to get to know him, but Kathryn and John are very wary about his intentions. Daphne finally confronted Angelo in last week's episode and he explained why he left when she was a toddler. After some pushing, he did sheepishly admit that part of the reason why he left was because she had gone deaf. He was clearly ashamed at his own weakness. But when Regina later went to speak to him about a new business deal, he told that he had spoken with Daphne. Personally I took Angelo's "I explained that I didn't leave because of her" to be a bit of a lie, because he had admitted to Daphne that he did partly leave because of her illness. When I asked Lizzy about the discrepancy in Angelo's response, she thought my reaction was curious, although she did acknowledge it could be open to interpretation. But rest assured, the writers had no intention of calling Angelo a liar - at least not about why he left. "The intention in that moment was not to paint him as a liar. In his mind, that’s how that conversation went."

The Business Deal: So if Angelo wasn't intending to lie to Regina, then that's a good thing, isn't it? Well, the situation isn't going to be smooth-sailing now that Daphne's gotten some answers. In particular, Regina is going to be in the thick of things now that she's accepted Angelo's business proposal, and there's going to be a lot of history that she'll need to fight to ensure she doesn't fall into old patterns: "Regina is being pulled by the old dynamic – their chemistry and their history. But she also continues to be protective of her daughter and what she means to her. It’s going to continue to be a push-and-pull with Regina and she’s going to continue to struggle with that. But they had this incredibly passionate relationship and with anyone who’s been in one of those, it’s hard to get out of an old pattern."

The Basketball Diaries: Daphne may or may not be able to come to terms with Angelo's confession from last week's Switched at Birth, but that's not the only issue she'll be dealing with. Her friendship with Emmett might be suffering as a result of her relationship with Bay, but it will be basketball that also continues to be important in her life. Now that she's been benched on the Buckner team (and apparently recruited so they could get a disability grant), don't expect her to be down for the count. "This is a big arc for us this season. It’s a big John-Daphne father-daughter story."

Simone's Intentions: Simone has also come off as a bit of a wild-card, particularly because of how she might influence Daphne. We saw her skip out on a bar bill and she recently told Toby the truth about why Daphne was recruited to play for Buckner. What exactly are her intentions towards Daphne? Lizzy wouldn't tell us, but she did assure me that Simone will be a big part of the rest of the season. "Simone and Daphne is a friendship that we follow. We really want to give her a girlfriend in the world that she would have grown up in if she hadn’t been switched. And Simone is a full, complex person who is not perfect, but doesn’t have evil intention. She genuinely wants to be Daphne’s friend and genuinely likes her."

Melody-Emmett-Bay: According to Lizzy, "the mother-daughter-boyfriend triangle continues to evolve and we have a lot more of Melody this season. Melody and Bay’s relationship continues to grow with ups and downs. Melody sees how important Bay is to Emmett but she still doesn’t think she’s a good influence on her son, for good reasons as we saw in the last episode – she did get him involved in something that got him arrested." And don't expect that any repercussions from Emmett's arrest are suddenly over. There's still the matter of the $5,000 fine, which Melody confessed to Regina would be a problem: "$5000 to a middle class guidance counselor does not come out of thin air. That will be a challenge for the family."

John, Kathryn, the Book & the New Lawyer: In the previous episode of Switched at Birth, the Kennishes fired their lawyer, Amanda, after learning that she was in a relationship with a member of the hospital board. While the decision was difficult for them given their history with Amanda, they clearly felt like it was the right thing to do. John and Kathryn will be interviewing attorneys in tonight's episode, which will bring some fresh blood into the show. In addition, Kathryn will definitely be going ahead with writing a book and the whole experience will be very good for her: "Kathryn is asserting herself as a person. The book is exciting for her. It’s given her something for the first time since before she had kids that’s separate from her family – being a wife and a mom. It’s helping her grow as a person and it’s going to lead her to new people and situations she never would have faced if she hadn’t done it." But, be warned, there's going to be some difficulties ahead. Regina is definitely not on board with the book and it doesn't look like she'll be changing her mind anytime soon.

The PI Report: Of course, we asked Lizzy about the PI report that John and Kathryn discovered, which detailed that Angelo had dropped off the grid for several years. While she couldn't reveal why, she did tease that "we are going to find out why he was off the map. Everyone’s response to that is going to be very different".

Don't miss an all new episode of Switched at Birth tonight at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC Family.

The Bullet Train" width="300" height="200" />Chuck | What can we expect from the two-hour series finale? The time has finally come to countdown the days to "Chuck Versus Sarah" and "Chuck Versus the Goodbye" on Jan. 27, so TVLine went to Zachary Levi for some scoop: “The first hour is super-intense drama and action and some tears are shed. And the second half also has some drama, but there’s a lot of comedy, too.”

Co-star Yvonne Strahovki echoed similar thoughts to EW. “I remember reading the script thinking ‘My god! Wow, this is quite a bold choice that the writers have made,’ which is why I say people are going to be wondering how this is going to finish up,” she says. “It’s a little scary or disconcerting in a way, but that’s what makes it interesting.” Now excuse me while I go stock up on tissues.

Grimm | What's the secret behind the mysterious Captain Renard? Well, according to EP David Greenwalt and EP Jim Kouf's talk with EW, we'll soon find out. “It’s not what people think…and we’ve been told a lot of what people think,” says Kouf. “He walks a fine line. He’s balancing more than anyone." Greenwalt agreed, "He’s not just purely nefarious at all. He has his reasons for what he’s doing.”

And what about Nick's friend and partner Monroe? It seems like he'll soon find himself opposite his good friend during an upcoming case. “[Monroe's] whole past will be brought up.” Also, don't be surprised if Monroe gets a little romance.

Fringe | Will the Observer's message about Olivia's death come true? If you go by EP Joel Wyman's comments to EW, then yes. "He said it, so we have to take it as gospel," Wyman says. “Every situation she goes into, from walking across the street to taking down a Fringe freak, she could be killed.” Guess that settles it. Let the death watch begin!

Nikita | Could death be coming to Nikita? Showrunner Craig Silverstein recently joked to TVLine about his character problem: “We’ve built up a lot of [cast members], and so we’ve got to start killing them off.” And just in case you thought the regulars were safe: “Yes, some of those guys will die.” Sounds like all bets are off.

You always have to be willing to [kill off characters]. Nothing is given." Uh, oh.

The Vampire Diaries | Could the newly hinted at 'Klaus and Caroline' actually become a thing? Not so fast. We are talking about a murderous vampire who's also kept his entire family under lock and key. Still, there could be some hope. "We're going to learn more about his past and what would've made him so closed-off," Joseph Morgan says. "If he can learn to trust, then he has a chance at loving again."

Plus, for more on these two, check out stills from the Feb. 9 episode "Dangerous Liaisons," where "Caroline discovers a side of Klaus no one would have suspected."

The Big Bang Theory | Are Leonard and Penny ready to give their relationship another try? This week's 100th episode "The Recombination Hypothesis" gave fans a big surprise when the two finally agreed to go out on another date. And on the Jan. 26 episode "The Beta Test Initiation," we'll see the couple still going strong as they continue to take their renewed dating status for a test-drive. There's just one problem: how fast or slow should they go?

Meanwhile, what's going on with Leonard and Sheldon? In the Feb. 2 episode “The Friendship Contraction,” there's going to be trouble in roommate paradise. It seems Leonard has had enough of Sheldon's crazy antics, and he's ready to throw in the towel. Are the two friends and roommates really done? A sudden power outage may help put everything into perspective.

Grey's Anatomy | Who might be leaving Seattle Grace Hospital? Well, that all depends on who doesn't pass their medical board exams. Creator Shonda Rhimes teased TVGuide about the episodes leading up to the season finale: "Some people pass the boards; some people fail the boards. Some people's careers survive; some people's careers don't." Sounds like they'd better start studying.

Is Arizona going to become pregnant? Jessica Capshaw recently stopped by Twitter to announce she's pregnant with her third child, so of course everyone's been wondering whether or not it will now be written into the show. Creator Shonda Rhimes had this to say: "I don't think it's gonna have any impact on story at all for us. Arizona's not gonna be pregnant and I think (hope, pray) the schedule will work out so Capshaw won't even miss an episode."

Will things between Teddy and Owen begin to heat up? Only in the dramatic sense. Following the death of her husband Henry, Teddy is going to be looking for someone on which to take out all her anger and grief. Kim Raver explained to TVLine, "It’s going to be difficult between her and Owen. But it’s also exciting what starts coming out of Teddy’s sadness, and it’s pointed toward Kevin McKidd’s character." Could this perhaps turn into a love triangle of sorts?

The Mentalist | Which Firefly actor will soon be dropping by the show? In the Feb. 16 episode "War of the Roses," 'psychic' consultant Patrick Jane will once again come up against Morena Baccarin's Erica Flynn. At the least, Simon Baker sounded excited about it to EW: "They were both deceptive characters and they enjoyed that in each other. And so to bring her back, there’s a bit more friction between the two of them that could potentially open things up for the Jane character."

Here's a round-up of some recent casting news for Revenge:

First, William Devane (veteran of Knots Landing and 24) will be appearing as Edward Grayson - Conrad's father - as EW reports. Apparently Victoria summons Edward to the Hamptons to help in her tangled divorce from Conrad, which was recently made even more difficult when Conrad learned that Charlotte isn't really his biological daughter. Devane will appear in episodes 14 and 15 (scheduled to air in February). Remember, episode 15 is the big turning point episode where we finally head back to the engagement party we first saw in the pilot. The victim of the beach shooting will be revealed. View photos of Devane's upcoming appearance.

Courtney B. Vance (previously seen on Law & Order: CI and Flashforward) will also be joining the cast in a recurring role as defense attorney Ben Barnett, according to TVLine. Barnett will be representing the suspected killer of the engagement party victim and will be appearing in at least three episodes.

Finally, James Purefoy (who starred on the period drama Rome), will be joining the show as a new love interest for Victoria, says The Insider. Considering her boyfriend David got sent to prison while dating her and her husband was tricked into raising another man's child, we're thinking Purefoy's character might want to run for the hills. But, according to Madeline Stowe, "She's going to have a big, passionate love affair" and we'll be learning more about Victoria's origins in coming episodes.

New episodes of Revenge will resume on Wednesday, February 8 at 10:00 p.m. EST on ABC.

Are you sitting down for this? John Blackwell. Best known for Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and Higher Ground (Everyone saw this show, right?), Joe Lando has been cast as the mysterious and powerful witch who finally makes his entrance in episode 15 "Return," supposedly so he can protect the Circle. Yeah, that's what I thought, too.

And what's up with Faye's new boy-toy Lee? Nothing good, I'm afraid. It seems this whole time he's been hiding the secret of his ex-girlfriend Eva (Alexia Fast) being in a drug-induced coma. And would you look at that, she's ready to wake up in "Return". My that episode is beginning to look really busy...

CSI: NY | Will Mac finally be able to move on from his wife Claire? The season premiere "Indelible" not only gave us our first glimpse at the happily married couple pre-9/11, but Mac was also able to at last say goodbye to the wife he lost so long ago. So now may be the perfect time to find someone new. Just in case, Megan Dodds has been cast as Christine, a possible love interest and someone from Mac's past.

How I Met Your Mother | Is love in the air for Barney? In episode 16, Barney will go out on a double date with new girl Quinn (Becky Newton), who manages to push his buttons in all the right ways. Creator Craig Thomas teases, she'll be "a bit of a puppet-master and Barney sort of falls under her thralls. The inventor of the playbook is being played." Oh, it's on!

Parks and Recreation | Which Will & Grace star is heading to Pawnee? Why that would be Sean Hayes! His former co-star Megan Mullally already recurs on Parks, but soon the actor will guest star as a TV journalist who grabs a big political interview with Leslie (Amy Poehler). This should go well.

And just who will be stopping by to play Leslie's opponent in the race for City Council? Vulture reports that Paul Rudd shot his scenes late last year, though neither NBC nor the show will comment, and that the episode should be airing very soon. Hm...

The Vampire Diaries | Who's this mysterious new lady Sage? To find out we'll have to wait until episode 16, simply titled "1911," where Cassidy Freeman will first be seen via flashbacks as the "sexy and fearless" Sage. She'll have the exciting task of enticing both the Salvatore brothers and the Original family. Though in the books, Sage was actually a he. Awkward.

Plus, will Damon soon be sexing it up with a hot female vampire? Perhaps. But is it Katherine? While Nina Dobrev refused to comment on whether she would be in the scene as well, judging by the wig Somerhalder recently tweeted himself wearing we're beginning to wonder if does take place in the past.

Oh, and when will Stefan find out about Damon and Elena's kiss? Try in this week's episode "The Ties that Bind". Any guesses as to how he'll take it?

Once Upon a Time | Is someone else going to learn about the curse? Kind of. In episode 17 "Hat Trick," an intriguing new character named Jefferson, a former criminal in the fairy-tale world, shows up and attempts to convince Emma that the curse is indeed true. Though we're not even sure how he knows about the curse in the first place.

Hart of Dixie | Could there be yet another love interest in store for Zoe? Well, maybe third time's the charm because Justin Hartley will soon be lingering around Bluebell as Jesse, a "charming Southerner and war hero". Sounds to me like Wade better step up his game.

The Good Wife | Could Will be getting a new woman in his life? Two, actually. And they're coming by to find him the woman of his life. Will's two sisters Sara (Nadia Dajani) and Audra (Merritt Wever) will be showing up on his doorstep determined to fix their brother's love life. Of course, they may not be entirely welcome...

Fringe | What's coming up for Fringe? Only the worst. Michael Massee, who's actually made a living playing villains, will play a man pushed to the limits in Episode 15. Executive producer JH. Wyman explained the casting thus: "His character promises to be one of the most memorable, guest bad guys we've ever had." Well, I'm sold.

Episode 2.17, January 23 "Blond Leading the Blind": The best way to get to someone is through the people they love, and "A" knows this better than anyone. Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have had to sacrifice a lot at the gloved hands of "A," especially when it comes to love. Toby continues to pursue Spencer, knowing that she is keeping something from him. With another "accident" possibly popping up at any minute, Spencer is desperate to keep Toby safe and can think of only way to truly end it. Also worried about her relationship, Hanna begs the other girls to stop using Caleb to help with their search. The more involved Caleb gets, the bigger target he becomes. But is the valuable information Caleb is finding more important to the others than Caleb’s safety? Meanwhile, Aria is desperate to save her relationship with Ezra still not returning her calls. Will one more "date" with Holden give Aria the opportunity to get the answer from Ezra she is longing for?

Episode 2.18, February 6 "The Naked Truth": Rosewood High’s "Truth-Up Day," is not just an opportunity for the students of the school to air their grievances and stop bullying, but also a chance for Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer to get answers to some burning questions. Spencer looks to find answers on what is going on between Jason and her father when Jason shows up as a chaperone; Aria continues to question Holden on what exactly he is up to during their "date nights," and Hanna tries to figure out the latest situation with Kate. But will the girls be ready for what they find out when shocking truths are revealed? Meanwhile, Emily gets help from an unlikely source to get back on the Rosewood swim team.

On the Jan. 19 episode "The Ties that Bind," Bonnie and Elena will go on a road trip in search of Bonnie's mother, Abby (guest star Persia White). I think it's fair to say these two will have a lot to talk about.

Plus, will Klaus' real love interest please stand up? Ever since Julie Plec said someone would be catching Klaus' eye very soon, the hunt has been on for the identity of this lucky lady. Thanks to this week's "Our Town" and some new pictures for the Feb. 9 episode "Dangerous Liaisons," it seems the lady in question might be our very own Caroline.

NCIS: LA | Are fan-favorites Kensi and Deeks ready to be married? Only in the fictional sense. In an upcoming episode the two partners will take their 'thing' to the next level by going undercover as husband and wife: “Everything you wish for when you want characters to get together, we put in this episode.” You won't want to miss this!

The Secret Circle | Who will be joining Cassie for a trip down memory lane? Hint: It's not Adam. Now that Jake has returned to Chance Harbor, in the Jan. 19th episode "Witness" he'll help her get to the bottom of what happened 16 years ago: "They learn more about each other and they learn more about where they come from and who Cassie is." I can't wait!

Ringer | Guess who's back? No, not Gemma, though that would be a good guess, but mischievous twin Siobhan! When we last saw her in the show's midseason finale she'd returned to New York to fix the Charlie problem, but soon Siobhan will be moving on to her other issue: Andrew and twin sister Bridget.

And did Mr. Carpenter really rape Juliet? A few months ago, Ausiello said the rape storyline was one of the most “hackneyed plots of the TV season,” but he seems to be quickly changing his tune: "I now know where it’s going and it’s actually pretty inspired (if a wee bit contrived)." Also, a mysterious third party appears to be involved. Color me intrigued.

Gossip Girl | Which dastardly relative is returning? Chuck's Uncle Jack (Desmond Harrington) is set to return for the last third of the season. But don't expect these two to be enemies again: "Their story is more of a fun story than an antagonistic story. Abrams, who also produced the last series Garcia worked in: LOST. Despite the involvement of so many LOST producers (including Jack Bender), and the fact that a great deal of its action takes place on a mysterious island, Alcatraz is a different series entirely. For one thing, it’s far more procedural than the highly complex and mythology-based LOST. But Garcia is embracing the differences between the shows and enjoying the new series, as he told us during a visit to the Vancouver-based set in October: "It’s kind of fun finding a new guy. I’m really enjoying it. And I’m digging what they’ve been writing for me. I did LOST for six years, now let’s explore someone new."

On Alcatraz, Garcia plays Doctor Diego "Doc" Soto, a comic book enthusiast who also happens to be an expert and author on the subject of Alcatraz. Detective Rebecca Madsen (Sarah Jones) finds an impossible connection between a killer and the mysterious old prison: the present-day killer is actually a former prisoner from Alcatraz who disappeared in the 1960s and has resurfaced without aging a day. In need of information about the prison, she approaches Doc for some answers.

Later, the pair come across FBI agent Emerson Hauser, who tries to prevent them from trying to track down the missing prisoners. But Hauser is grudgingly forced to tell Doc and Rebecca that he knows more than he's let on and that he's made it his life's mission to wait for these prisoners to return so he can get to the bottom of the mysterious situation.

At first, Doc is excited to work with Det. Madsen and explore more about one of his favorite subjects, but soon the element of danger becomes clear. "He’s kind of a fish out of water. He’s in a huge element of stress and anxiety when he’s first in the thick of it. He’s discovering that [working with Rebecca and the FBI] is much more gruesome and much more dangerous than he had probably anticipated. He has to kind of deal with that and man up, I guess."

In the second episode of Alcatraz in particular, Doc wonders whether joining the new task force to hunt down these mysterious Alcatraz prisoners is the right choice for him: "I think probably this is the most exciting thing he gets to do. But I think immediately, when you come across the culture shock of ‘oh, this is a room full of blood’, and on top of that, this is such an important, ‘save the world kind of duty now, that no one else can know about’ - it gets serious and real, very fast."

What really helps Doc stick with Madsen and the task force is not only his genuine interest in Alcatraz, but also his quickly growing friendship with Madsen herself, strengthened by the fact that Hauser is clearly keeping the duo on a need-to-know-basis: "It’s kind of us against Hauser sometimes. We have this kind of relationship where we look out for each other. She does the ass kicking and I do the figuring. But we also try to watch each other’s back. We know we have to deal with Hauser and Hauser’s not going to give us a lot of information, so there’s sometimes moments where we find ourselves having to be in cahoots with each other." When one of the press members in attendance asked whether this could relationship ever become romantic, Garcia simply laughed "we just started".

While Doc is introduced to the audience in the pilot as an expert and authority on the subject of Alcatraz and its prisoners, expect to learn more about the character himself as the story progresses, including why he’s so interested in the prison: "You get a piece as to probably where his original obsession with criminology came from. It’s more a traumatic experience in his past [that prompted him to become interested, instead of a family connection like Rebecca]."

On LOST, Garcia often played Hurley as one of the more humorous crash survivors. Will Doc bring a touch of humor to this serious show? Garcia enigmatically said "I do have my moments", but co-star Sarah Jones was able to shed some more light on Doc’s propensity for comic relief: "I would say that there a few moments - you definitely need a bit of a relief. I think Jorge brings a wonderful quality in that aspect. For Doc - he’s an expert on Alcatraz and he writes comics and owns a comic book store and he didn’t know what he was getting involved in in the slightest bit. The way he handles things, to me, there’s times that brings a lightness. Speaking for Rebecca, he kind of allows her to lighten up for a second because she’s so focused and so on the go at all times."

You can watch Jorge Garcia in the two hour series premiere of Alcatraz, airing Monday, January 16 at 8:00 p.m. ET on Fox. After the two-hour premiere, the show airs on Mondays night beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET. Also, watch a featurette below from Fox about Doc Soto. Also, read more about Sarah Jones, her character and the show in an interview we posted earlier today.

Fringe: The Stars Talk Doppelgangers, New Realities & Tonight's New Episode

As I’m sure many of you know, Fringe returns tonight from the winter hiatus with the all-new episode “Back To Where You’ve Never Been”. As was mentioned in an article we posted earlier this week, back in October, TVOvermind visited the Vancouver set of Fringe and spoke with some of the stars about season 4. When the interviews occurred, only the first two episodes of the season had aired, so the actors were understandably vague about much of what was to come. However, tonight’s new episode was the one being filmed during the set visit, so some of the hints are now coming to fruition.

Given where Fringe has gone this season, something on everyone’s mind was how the two universes can coexist relatively peacefully, considering the fact that they had basically been at war. The tension between the two sides is tangible, and it’s clear that none of the characters trust their alternates – especially after the revelation of a new breed of shapeshifter. As Olivia is quick to point out, Walternate was behind the previous generation, and this technology looks incriminatingly similar. Lance Reddick – who plays two versions of Phillip Broyles – discussed the fact that although the two sides have been working together, the tension has been building. He also pointed out that "there’s potentially a third element that will be a danger to both universes that’s going to force them to work together". Jasika Nicole, who plays agents Astrid Farnsworth, went on to say that as crazy as things have been before, the dangers posed by this new threat will be even more severe.

Along with some tantalizing hints of what is to come, Mr. Reddick discussed some of the intricacies of working on a show that regularly shoots scenes with doubles of their characters. The short answer, which doesn’t do his answers justice, is that it’s incredibly complicated, but also rewarding and fascinating. He did note that one of the joys of playing alternate versions of characters is that it offers the opportunity to explore more of the backstories for each character. While he hopes to see more of this, he did note that he “[doesn’t] know if there’ll be time, because there’s just so much story happening!”

Jasika Nicole also had some thoughts on character backstories and relationships. She noted that both her and Anna Torv, who plays FBI agent Olivia Dunham, always found it a little strange that we never really got the opportunity to see the friendship between Olivia and Astrid in the original timeline; I definitely agree with her when she says that she thinks it’s "long overdue" that we’re finally seeing aspects of their relationship in this new reality! I also think that Ms. Nicole had a very good point when she pointed out that "[Peter]’s not there anymore, and so Astrid has sort of become Olivia’s confidante." Not to mention the fact that the two women have had shared custody, so to speak, of Walter Bishop since the unlikely trio joined Fringe Division, and I imagine they’ve had more than enough to bond over.

That being said, it’s been apparent from the beginning of this new season of Fringe that Walter and Astrid don’t share the same relationship in this new reality. My first thought was that in the absence of Peter, Walter should be closer to both Astrid and Olivia. We’ve certainly seen how Walter has come to rely on Olivia, yet Walter and Astrid’s relationship seems to have gone in the opposite direction. I assume that the main reason for this shift is because she isn’t entirely lab-based in this new reality. Since Astrid has had to function as Walter’s eyes and hands outside the lab, I guess they simply haven’t forged the same connection forced by close proximity for the past 3 years. As Ms. Nicole pointed out, "that was the reason Astrid was there, was to be there for Walter when he needed her." And if that’s not her role in their little family any more, what is? Ms. Nicole was quick to state that "[Astrid] has to be a piece of this puzzle", and that according to the writers, we’ll see more of where Astrid fits in in the new timeline.

One thing I found particularly interesting was when Ms. Nicole pointed out that Astrid is "always trying to convince Walter that Walternate is not evil, that his world is just as important as ours...that he’s not the enemy." In some ways I think Astrid serves as the voice of reason, trying to keep Walter and Olivia on an even keel , as neither of them are particularly level-headed when it comes to their alternates. Ms. Nicole also noted that she thinks that her character "tries to see the best in people all the time", and I think that’s a trait that seems intrinsic to Astrid – at least for the one on Our Side.

As far as portraying Alt-Astrid, particularly in regards to the fact that she’s autistic, Ms. Nicole discussed how she tries to take what she knows of how autism affects the brain and therefore communication and behaviour, and bases her portrayal of the alternate agent on that. She tries not to model any one person in particular because she never wants it to seem that she’s making light of autism – something that’s particularly important to her because her sister is autistic. After observing that Alt-Astrid has been rather static so far because we only see her at work, Ms. Nicole stated that she "would love to explore what other facets of her personality there are". When it comes to the possibility of the two Astrids interacting, she mused that "these two women are fundamentally different, and I wonder what their common ground is, besides their having the same body". Personally, she thinks Astrid would be fascinated and want to get to know her alternate, while her doppelganger would be rather oblivious to their connection. Personally, I’d love to see a confrontation between the two Astrids. Actually, I’d like to see an exploration of Astrid’s backstory in general. I’m hoping that it’s something we see at some point in the back half of the season.

Now, fair warning, in case you want to go into tonight’s episode without any specific spoilers, I’m going to discuss a bit of what was seen of the scene of Fringe they were filming during the set visit.

The scene being filmed was obviously taking place Over There – so it looks like we’re finally going to get more than a glimpse of what’s been going on in the alternate universe in this new timeline. A group of people were standing outside of a transportation depot – in Vancouver, actually a horsetrack – when a bus comes speeding by only to have a shapeshifter jump on top of it. The alt-world citizens see the commotion which brings Olivia Dunham and Seth Gabel’s alternate Lincoln Lee to investigate. In the banner below, you can see one of the posters that urge citizens Over There to "Be Vigilant". It never ceases to amaze me, the amount of detail that goes in to every scene; the set decorators on Fringe are consistently fantastic.

The only other thing I’ll say about tonight’s Fringe episode is that I loved it, and I hope you all tune in tonight to watch it LIVE on FOX at 9:00 pm EST!

Alcatraz: Sarah Jones Talks the New Series & Her Character's Journey

Back in October, we had the opportunity to chat with Alcatraz actress Sarah Jones during a visit to the show's Vancouver set. Alcatraz is the newest drama from producer J.J. Abrams and will be premiering on Fox on Monday, January 16. Jones took some time away from filming to talk to a group of writers about how she's enjoying the show and the transformation her character will go through as she's pulled into the strange world related to Alcatraz.

San Francisco Police Department Detective Rebecca Madsen was a regular police office until she got called in on a mysterious homicide. The killer is reportedly none other than Jack Sylvane, a former Alcatraz inmate who disappeared when the prison closed back in 1963. Only Sylvane is now in present day and hasn't appeared to age. Madsen eventually seeks out comic store owner and Alcatraz author Doctor "Doc" Soto to gather information about the prison and Sylvane. Rebecca soon meets FBI Agent Emerson Hauser, who attempts to impede her investigation, until he's forced to tell her the truth: that he's been waiting for these prisoners to resurface for the last 50 years.

When discussing the show, and her character specifically, Jones told us that: "The show is kind of that procedural hybrid, where you do get to figure out a mystery every week, but there’s character [development] added and there’s a bit of mythology as well. It’s about [Rebecca's] journey into a phase/chapter in her life that connects her to her past that she didn’t know about before. Her world is basically turned upside down in the pilot and [Alcatraz] follows her in trying to put the pieces together." In other words, Rebecca is trying to make sense of the mystery she's now involved in while, at the same time, trying to catch all of these dangerous former Alcatraz prisoners who have reappeared in modern times.

It will be taking Rebecca quite some time to come to terms with her new life and her work with Hauser. In fact, as Jones told us, "I think she’s got a few [conflicts]. The writers kind of revealed this - after the pilot, almost everything she might have thought were her conflicts kind of go out the window and it really turns into ‘Where the hell am I? What is going on?’. For her, her conflict is to find her grounding again. Prior to this mystery coming into her life and prior to Hauser coming into her life, she kind of had a routine down. She knew what she was doing every day and she knew how to handle her life. And after this, it just shattered. I think, in my opinion, the first season is about her trying to find her footing again."

Fortunately, Doc Soto will be on hand to help Rebecca find her footing. Jones said she's very much enjoying working alongside Jorge Garcia, who plays the Alcatraz expert, and their characters will do a great deal of bonding: "I really like what the writers have done with their relationship. [Rebecca’s] not quick to trust people, there’s very few people in her life that she allows herself to get close to and trust. I like that the writers aren’t so quick to make Rebecca and Doc best friends. There’s a relationship that’s built. Sometimes they have a moment together and sometimes she pushes him away. It allows Doc and Rebecca to get to know each other and learn how to trust each other."

Rebecca has a deeply personal connection that's driving her to find answers in Alcatraz. As we're told in the pilot, her grandfather was a guard at the prison. "You see in the pilot what her drive is to push through, and that’s her grandfather. The closer she gets to solving these crimes - regardless of whether she believes them or not - the closer she gets to her grandfather and unlocking some things of her family history and trying to figure out who she is."

But we'll soon learn that Rebecca doesn't necessarily know everything about her family history. In addition, we'll see a few twists at the end of the second episode (part of the two hour premiere). Jones made a point to say "I really appreciate that they’re not making the audience wait forever and ever to figure something out. They’re giving people a glimpse into what’s going on."

As for working on Alcatraz, Jones says that she's very much enjoying it, particularly her co-stars. "I love the cast, I love the crew. I thank God every day that this is the case - that we like working together. I think both [Jorge & Sam] are brilliant. They both have such a wonderful sense of timing, you know, dramatic or comedic. And they both move me whatever scene we’re in, they both bring something…. Yes, they’re very different. What they do is wonderful. They’re both pretty subtle. They’re both lovely. It’s really great to work with both of them."

Executive Producer Jack Bender also had many good things to say about Jones and her character: "She brings a lot of unique freshness to this role." Bender said that that Mariska Hargitay has "paved the way for this kind of character - the woman cop investigative thing - and done it brilliantly and all the other women on all the other procedural shows who play this part also do a really good job, but what I love about what Sarah is bringing to it. There’s a youthfulness and a vitality and a slightly off-centre funkiness to her version of this cop."

You can watch Sarah Jones in the two hour series premiere of Alcatraz, airing Monday, January 16 at 8:00 p.m. ET on Fox. After the two-hour premiere, the show airs on Mondays night beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET. Also, check out a featurette below from Fox about Sarah's character.

Will there be wedding bells for Glee's Will and Emma? And are secrets about to come out on Castle? Plus more scoop and teases from these three shows.

Pretty Little Liars | If there's one thing clear from the return of Pretty Little Liars, it's that the Liars are mad as hell and not going to take it anymore. According to series creator Marlene King's interview with The Insider, the winter premiere successfully "set the tone" for the rest of the season. "We really flipped things around and the girls are no longer victims. A's phone is going to provide them with a wealth of information to lead them on the hunt for A." But the discovery of A's phone won't be the only clue leading to some answers and finally the reveal of A's identity in the season finale: "There's something else the girls are about to find that are about to lead them to her." Wait, her? Did King just reveal that A is a girl?!

But that's not all, King then went on to drop a quick tease about Alison (Sasha Pieterse)."There's also two parallel paths the girls take in 2B. There's the Hunt For A but they also find out something about Alison that they didn't know and they start retracing her steps from the Halloween episode to her death. There's a big revelation about Alison that is shocking and filled with mystery and fun also." Hm, could this be the fact that Alison might actually be a twin? When asked, King coyly answers, "We live in the world of Rosewood, one Sarah Shepherd did a wonderful job of creating for us in her book series. So everything and anything is possible in this extraordinary world these PLL's live in." I'll take that as a yes.

Glee | It's been two years of on-again, off-again drama for Glee's Will (Matthew Morrison) and Emma (Jayma Mays), but when the show finally returns on Jan. 17 with the episode "Yes/No" will Emma say yes to Will's proposal? Speaking to Hollywood Reporter, Mays attempted to answer, "It's that game that you play with one person feeling like, 'Yes, yes, yes!' while the other one's like, 'I'm not sure.' Then the other is, 'Yes, yes, yes!' while the other is, 'I'm not sure.' That's a running theme throughout this episode." Sounds like they're going to keep us guessing right up until the end. Ok, so what about the proposal itself? Morrison recently told TVLine: "All I can say is it’s wet. And it involves a big dance." Curiouser and curiouser.

And fans of Glee's power couple Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) can rest easy because rival Sebastian (Grant Gustin) will soon have bigger fish to fry at McKinley High. Speaking to TVLine, Gustin said, “It’s actually going less in a flirtatious direction [between Blaine and Sebastian], and more of [Sebastian] just being a d***.” In the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute episode airing Jan. 24 — and appropriately titled "Michael" — Sebastian will become the show's 'first male villain'. Then, just as any true villain would do, Gustin laughed about it to TVLine, "I do a majorly douche-y thing to one of the characters. So first off the fans are against me, and now the whole cast is against me.” I think we can all agree, there are just some characters you love to hate.

Castle | No matter how much progress Castle and Beckett have been making this season in their relationship, professional or otherwise, I can't help but feel like there's a dark cloud looming overheard. Beckett still needs to admit she remembers Castle's "I love you" from the season finale, and Castle needs to come clean about looking into her shooter on his own. So when might we see these two secrets revealed? Series creator Andrew W. Marlowe told TVLine that Castle's secret "will resurface" by season's end and "have an impact on their relationship." Ouch. Well, what about Beckett? Marlowe teases, "Beckett’s secret might resurface even earlier." I don't know about you, but the order of these events doesn't sound good at all.

Until that time, however, there is one thing we can be happy about, and that's an upcoming Caskett kiss. In the special 1940s film noir episode "The Blue Butterfly," set to air in Feb., Castle (Nathan Fillion) will have a delightful daydream about a detective who falls in love with a gangster's moll. I'm sure I don't have to tell you who'll be playing those two very important roles. Stana Katic gushed to TVGuide about the moment, "What fans will see is probably the fulfillment of what most any fan would like to see happen with the Castle and Beckett relationship. Fans will be seeing the ultimate expression of love for those two characters." Say it with me now: Aaw!

Fringe Stars Talk Season 4: Relationships, Reappearances and Resurrections

Back in October, TVOvermind visited the Vancouver set of Fringe and sat down with the actors to discuss season four. At the time of the interviews, only the first two episodes of the new season had aired, so everyone was understandably tight-lipped about what we could expect in coming episodes. Now that we’re almost half-way through the season, however, we have some context for the various hints and references.

John Noble always has some fascinating insights into the characters he portrays, and this time was no exception. When asked whether we’ll see Walter get back to where he was at the end of last season, Mr. Noble stated that “somewhere down the track there will be a stabilization, because right now he’s just a loon… There has to be a stabilization somewhere.” He went on to say that while he doesn’t know when that might happen, as an actor, it isn’t really something he wants to know; it can change his choices on how to portray Walter in the present.

Mr. Noble goes on to say that “it’s a beautiful thing that [they] get to reset [their] characters." It’s constantly a challenge, as well as a fascinating mental exercise, to have to rewind the last 4 years and imagine how events would have unfolded without the addition of Peter. Walter has been taken back to when he was in St. Claire’s, and definitely not a well man, except this time when he was released he didn’t have the stabilizing force of his son to anchor him to reality. This new Walter is simultaneously driven and paralyzed by fear - haunted not only by the loss of his son, but also by the fact that he is responsible for the damage done to both worlds. And even though Walter can’t really connect with anyone right now, John Noble has found the shift in Walter’s relationship with Anna Torv’s Olivia to be quite interesting. Speaking as to the new dynamic between Walter and Olivia, Ms. Torv herself notes that Olivia is now a “surrogate child” to Walter, and that “Walter and Olivia are closer, but they’ve had to be, without the buffer of Peter."

In terms of Walter’s relationship with the newest Fringe Division agent Lincoln Lee, John Noble states that while they’re certainly not close, Walter at least acknowledges him. When asked about whether Lincoln could be a surrogate son for Walter, Mr. Noble was quite emphatic that “he’s not Walter’s son - it will never be that beautiful emotional entanglement that you got in [earlier seasons]” and goes on to speculate that he doesn’t know when or if we’ll see that again. One of the many reasons that I hope to see at least elements of the original timeline restored is because I find myself missing that very dynamic: along with Olivia’s complicated relationship with both Bishops, Peter and Walter’s bond was part of the heart of the show.

Seth Gabel, who plays Lincoln Lee and was added as a full-time cast member this season, says that the moment he feels that Walter accepted Lincoln was when Walter got his name wrong and called him “Kennedy”. He goes on to add that even though Lincoln obviously isn’t Walter’s son he might just be the “perfect placeholder and possibly bridge for Walter ultimately being able to accept this Peter that’s come back into his life”. One thing I found particularly interesting in Mr. Gabel’s interview was that he has some of the same questions as I do about this new timeline, particularly regarding Olivia’s time spent Over There: the question still remains as to how that entire story arc would have played out given that there was no Peter to cause them to cross over, and Olivia herself doesn’t seem to be aware of any of her Cortexiphan-induced abilities. It's been implied that Walternate kidnapped Olivia, but it still remains a subject of debate.

In terms of Lincoln’s dynamic with a newly-returned Peter, Mr. Gabel tries, unsuccessfully, to avoid the term “bromance”, and notes that they seem to work well together. We saw them play off each other in the Fringe episode “And Those We Left Behind”; for anyone who’s a fan of their dynamic, I will say that there’s a lot more of it in this week’s new episode “Back To Where You’ve Never Been”, which was the episode that was being filmed during the set visit in October.

During the set visit it was readily apparent that at least part of the episode takes place on the Other Side, which we haven’t really seen much of this season, aside from “One Night In October”. On the subject of Walternate, John Noble states that the reason we haven’t really seen what Walter’s alternate has been up to is that there hasn’t really been a reason for it. There have certainly been hints as to nefarious plans by Walternate, but we’ll see what he has been up to in this week’s new episode. Something I’ve loved about Fringe since they gave us our first glimpses of an alternate universe is how they’ve fleshed out the alternate versions of the characters. Mr. Noble says that he “never wanted [Walternate] to be evil… I always wanted him to be a human being with a big responsibility." Personally, I think that they’ve done that (although killing Olivia was a step too far, for me). One of the most intriguing contrasts between Walternate and Walter was the alternate’s refusal to experiment on children, which the lovable Walter has done without compunction.

Mr. Noble also addressed one of my biggest questions in this new timeline with regards to Walternate: how have Walternate and Elizabeth recovered from the loss of their son? Previously, Walternate could have at least been reassured with the fact that Peter was stolen from them, yet was saved in the process. In this new timeline, he has no such reassurances. Mr. Noble muses that “last time [the loss of his son] really drove him through into that state; what happens now? Is he still the same?” This Friday we’ll finally start to get answers to those questions.

Use the arrows above to browse through a few photos from the Fringe set. And make sure you tune in to Fringe on Friday, January 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET on Fox to watch the all new episode “Back To Where You’ve Never Been” – I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Now ABC has released some details for the January 29 episode, titled "Fruit of the Poisonous Tree". Here’s what we know: Sidney is feeling none too fond of Regina lately. He would like a little payback, which involves exposing Regina as the rather corrupt city official that she is. But to do this, he asks Emma for help in uncovering the evidence to bring to the townspeople of Storybrooke.

Mary Margaret and David ‘shippers will be happy to know that the pair will be continuing their “secret rendezvous while trying to figure out a way to unleash their unrequited love”. Could it be? Are the duo really hooking up behind Kathryn’s back?

Finally, the Once Upon a Time fairytale world will give us more insight into King Leopold (guest star Richard Schiff), who is Snow White’s father and the Evil Queen’s husband. In the episode, he’ll come across a magic lamp (perhaps the one that eventually ended up in Mr. Gold’s pawn shop?). Naturally, a Genie pops out of the lamp and grants the King three wishes. But the old adage “be careful what you wish for” will definitely come into play.

A new episode of Once Upon a Time will air on Jauary 15 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC. Watch a trailer for the episode here.

Is new love in the air on The Vampire Diaries? Who will become the latest takedown on Revenge?

Happy new year! Hope everyone had a relaxing holiday break and you were able to catch up on all the tv you might have missed during the fall. Because now that winter hiatus is over, it's time to get back down to business.

I'm here with a brand new spoiler-filled column from TVOvermind. Each week, I'll tease and spoil you on everything they, the ominous they, don't want you to know about what's coming up on all your favorite shows. So if you're willing to bear that burden, then unshield your eyes and follow me down the rabbit hole!

ONCE UPON A TIME | For weeks before the midseason finale, we were teased that a beloved character would be meeting their untimely end, but I don't think any of us were quite prepared for Sheriff Graham (Jamie Dornan) to die by the hand (literally) of the Evil Queen. So what's next for the citizens of Storybrooke following the loss of one of their own? When we return with the midseason premiere "Desperate Souls" on Jan. 8, the town is in a state of chaos over who should be the new sheriff, and it's not hard to guess that Regina (Lana Parrilla) has her own idea about who it shouldn't be. She'll stop at nothing to make sure Emma (Jennifer Morrison) doesn't win against rival Sidney (Giancarlo Esposito), including telling everyone that Emma gave birth to Henry while in jail.

Meanwhile in fairytale land, the focus will be on the mysterious Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle) who, as it turns out, has (or had) a son himself. Through flashbacks we learn what happened to his son after Rumpel tried to help him avoid going to war. Could the loss of his son be the reason for his obsession with babies? Also in this episode, look for Emma's deal with Mr. Gold to make a reappearance, and Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) and David (Josh Dallas) will find themselves on opposite sides during the campaign for town sheriff.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES | Readers of L.J. Smith's "Vampire Diaries" novels, on which the popular CW series is based, were in for quite a shock this week when a popular book character made a surprise appearance during the midseason premiere. But Executive Producer Julie Plec tells Zap2it that even though Elena's good friend Meredith Sulez's name and age has been changed for the show, Dr. Meredith Fell (Torrey DeVitto) will still have a number of things in common with her alter ego, like let's say her family history and relationship with Alaric (Matthew Davis). So don't be surprised if Meredith quickly becomes an important part of this season's story arc.

But Alaric isn't the only one getting a new love interest. Julie Plec also recently told TVLine that “someone will catch Klaus’ eye very soon.” Could the someone in question be the show's resident witch, Bonnie (Katerina Graham)? Joseph Morgan and Katerina Graham have been seen getting suspiciously cozy lately, per two candid photos from the set. And Kat even speculated to Zap2it how she believes it could be possible for the two characters to end up an item. I have only one thing to say about this development: Bring on the Blaus!

REVENGE | Emily's plan for revenge has never been easy, but it's only gotten steadily more complicated ever since Tyler (Ashton Holmes) and Amanda (Margarita Levieva) arrived in town. Just don't expect the drama caused by these two thorns in Emily's side to let up anytime soon. Revenge showrunner Mike Kelley told TVLine that following the winter premiere, we're now counting down to the crazy Episode 15, which will at last bring us full circle back to the events of the pilot and the murder on the beach. Everyone, please continue praying it's not Daniel (Joshua Bowman) who we saw lying dead on the sand.

But first, Emily will be getting back to basics in next week's episode, "Infamy," with a good ol' fashioned takedown. Desperate Housewives' Roger Bart will arive on the scene as a journalist intent on discovering the seedy underbelly of the Hampton's elite and a mysterious Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp). Unfortunately for him, as Emily VanCamp confided to TVLine, he's not on an even playing field. “I know everything about him, and he doesn’t know that, so I get to play with fire.” The poor guy will never see Emily's big red X coming.

Plus, Daphne Struggles With Her Feelings

Switched at Birth returned from its long midseason hiatus this week and jumped right into the relationship drama. Bay and Emmett hit a bit of a rough patch in the midseason premiere. Not only is there a fairly significant communication barrier between this couple, but Daphne has also been hit by the jealousy bug and seems rather determined to claim Emmett for herself. Bay and Emmett will be hitting another obstacle in the January 10 episode, when Marlee Matlin returns as Emmett's mother, Melody, and lets her disapproval of their relationship be known.

We recently chatted with Switched at Birth's creator and showrunner Lizzy Weiss, who helped shed some light on Bay and Emmett's relationship woes, why Daphne is feeling jealous and whether there might be a chance for romance between Daphne and Wilkie.

Bay and Emmett: “It’s inherently challenging to date someone so different from you" Lizzy explained. "You have a serious language barrier - Bay is not just trying to learn [ASL] as fast as she can and she’s doing great, but she’s not fluent - and Emmett can’t read lips perfectly. So [until Bay becomes fluent] that’s always going to be a challenge. Melody is going to put up some roadblocks as well. Like any mother, she’s protective of her son if she foresaw challenges and would want to have her child to avoid that and avoid pain. We do a lot this season with Emmett’s family. We meet his dad this season - his parents are going through a divorce and like any kid of divorced parents, it’s very much a struggle for him."

Daphne's Pursuit of Emmett: Is Daphne pursuing Emmett because she genuine has feelings for him or because she's jealous that Bay has started dating her best friend? We put that question to Lizzy Weiss, who said “I think it’s all of that. I think as he pointed out to her - or accused her of - in the finale, he’s a security blanket. They do have a bond that Bay and Emmett will never have, which is true. Whether or not that needs to be love remains to be seen. Daphne is going through a lot and, as she said in episode 9, [he's] the one thing she could always count on so she clung to it. But she’s going to have to figure out this season: 'how hard do I fight?' [She also needs to consider] 'is this really the right way to get emotionally what I need?'”

Daphne and Wilkie: Switched at Birth fans might have noticed a sweet bonding moment between Daphne and Wilkie in the midseason premiere, which led us to ask Lizzy whether there's a chance for a relationship between them. She teased: “Well that’s something that they have different perspectives on and we play with. We take time with that relationship. There’s a lot of Wilkie in this season.”

What's Next for Toby: Lizzy couldn't tell us very much, but she did manage to drop a relationship hint for Toby. We know that “He gets more time with his band. We have more of him singing and we have a lot of fun with the Toby/Wilkie friendship.” But Lizzy also told me that "Toby will get a love interest [this season]."

Familial Relationships: Of course, romantic relationships aren't the only problematic relationships on Switched at Birth. I made a point to ask Lizzy about the mother-daughter relationships, especially since it seems like Kathryn has made more of an effort to reach out to Daphne than Regina has with Bay. She said: “Yes, I would say that Kathryn makes an effort, but there’s still a hesitancy there and Lea [Thompson] and I have talked a lot about this and Lea feels strongly that [Kathryn] has a much deeper bond with Bay than with Daphne. Even though Daphne is her biological daughter, there’s the added distancing element of her daughter being deaf, which is still so new to her and the language is still so new to her, so it’s not quite as natural with Daphne. She does make an effort, but she’s not as quite as natural a mom as she is with Bay. And that’s a real choice Lea has made. [As for] Regina, I would agree in the last season she and Bay barely had any scenes together, except for the one where Bay found out the truth and felt so betrayed. This season, both Regina and Bay mutually make more of an effort to get to know each other.”

Don't miss an all new episode of Switched at Birth on Tuesday, January 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC Family.

But the Halloween prequel episode of Pretty Little Liars revealed a slightly darker side to Lucas. We know that Allie tormented him when she was alive and it looks like he may have been a prime candidate to be 'A'.

Something odd is about to happen to Lucas in the upcoming January 16 episode. We know that in the January 9 episode of Pretty Little Liars that Caleb's hacking skills will be put to use by the girls when trying to track down 'A'. We also know that Hanna will be planning a party for Caleb at Spencer's family's lake house. But something at the party goes awry, and it looks like Lucas goes missing. In the January 16 episode, Lucas is still missing and there are a lot of questions swirling around about exactly what happened at the lake party. Hanna's suffering under the stress of the situation, but she can't tell Caleb the truth about "what happened in the boat", even when he is determined to find Lucas. After all, he'll want to know the whole truth and she doesn't want to tell him about 'A' and everything the girls have done. Spencer will also be following a blind lead about 'A' which "guides her to an unexpected place and revelation".

Do you think that Lucas becomes a victim of 'A' or is he part of a plot? Don't miss new episodes of Pretty Little Liars on Monday nights at 8:00 p.m. on ABC Family.
