Jane by Design: Spoilers for the Mid-season Premiere

The second half of Jane by Design's first season is looking to up the ante that much more from its first set of episodes. Now, Ben knows about Jane's time at Donovan Decker, Billy has to deal with time in jail (and his feelings for Jane), and Jane must continue her forward movement in the company without anybody finding out her true identity, all the while choosing between Billy, Nick, and Jeremy. It's a completely different type of life than Jane envisioned once she took the job at Donovan Decker, extraordinarily chaotic and filled to the brim with activity, but something tells me that we'll see her really settle in during the upcoming run of episodes.

She's always loved fashion, but it took a few episodes for her to grow into her role at Donovan Decker. With a little experience under her (fabulous) belt and India out of the way, for now, Jane's comfort level could rise pretty rapidly, but will she still remember who she is upon achieving even more success?

Listed below are the dates, initial airings, episode names, and episode descriptions for Jane by Design's first two episodes back, where it looks like Jane may be close to forgetting her roots.

TUESDAY, JUNE 5 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST)
"The Replacement"
Jane is scrambling to get a handle on both her personal and professional life. With Billy returning from juvie, Jane is nervous about how things were left and what that means now for the two best friends. But, she doesn't have too much time to think about it because with India now gone from Donovan Decker, Gray is leaning on Jane more than ever. Jane starts to wonder if she may have a shot at the job, with a little encouragement from Jeremy, but some stiff competition might be standing in her way. Interior designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard (from Bravo's "Million Dollar Decorators") stops by the Donavan Decker offices to spruce up Gray's office. Meanwhile, Ben tries his best to keep Jane's secret safe even though it is affecting his new relationship with Rita.

TUESDAY, JUNE 12 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST)
"The Celebrity"
It's bad enough that the Donovan Decker team has to win the approval of India to clinch the coveted new Harrod's fashion line, but now they have to also dazzle movie star Aiden Redmond - the new celebrity face of the retail chain. With his Hollywood looks and charm, it is only a matter of time before the whole team is smitten. Now with access to one of Hollywood's top leading men, will all the fame and celebrity get the best of Jane? Meanwhile, Billy is still struggling to fit back into daily life of high school and his new reputation.

Jane by Design returns Tuesday, June 5th at 9:00 following Pretty Little Liars. A marathon of the first 10 episodes will be airing two days prior on SOAPnet.

Bunheads: Spoilers for the First Three Episodes

For months, the pilot of Bunheads has been hinted at, talked about, and cryptically previewed, both on ABC Family and the internet at large. That's to be expected, considering the caliber of talent in front of (Tony winner Sutton Foster) and behind (Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino) the camera, but what I've been most interested in are the episodes following the pilot. Once the premise has been clearly defined and Michelle makes the trek from Vegas to Paradise, California, what happens then? How will she adjust to being out of the limelight, marrying a stranger, and teaching dance instead of being on stage?

Listed below are the dates, initial airings, episode names, and episode descriptions for the first three episodes of Bunheads, all of which hint that her transition to small town life may not go as smoothly as she thought.

MONDAY, JUNE 11 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST)
"Pilot"
Michelle Simms (Tony Award(R)-winning actor Sutton Foster) had a promising career as a classically-trained professional dancer but was drawn to the lights of Las Vegas. Now, with a dead-end job as a 30-something showgirl, she's found the excitement of Sin City has lost its appeal, and her persistent suitor, Hubbell Flowers (Alan Ruck, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"), is gaining it. With promises of a cushy life in his coastal town of Paradise, CA., Hubbell convinces Michelle to marry him and move away. Once in there, Michelle discovers that Hubbell forgot to mention that he lives with his mother, the strong-headed, imperious Fanny Flowers (Kelly Bishop, "Gilmore Girls"), who is not pleased that Hubbell has run off and married a stranger.

A former dancer herself, Fanny runs the local dance studio, which Michelle comes upon and ends up bonding with some of Fanny's dance students: sweet "Boo" (Kaitlyn Jenkins), who would give anything to be a "bunhead" but struggles against her body type; rebellious Sasha (Julia Goldani Telles), who possesses the classic ballet dancer's body and talent but -- distracted by family issues at home -- doesn't seem to have her heart in dancing; shapely Ginny (Bailey Buntain), who is not yet comfortable in her own skin; and fun-loving Melanie (Emma Dumont), who is ready for whatever life throws at her. Michelle's budding relationship with these girls helps her adapt to small town living and her uneasy role as a new daughter-in-law.

MONDAY, JUNE 18 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST)
"For Fanny"
Michelle's rocky start with her new mother-in-law finally seems to smooth out, until an unexpected occurrence turns everything on end. Michelle quickly finds herself back at odds with Fanny, but at the same time wanting to empathize with her. Inspired by Fanny's students, Michelle has an idea to help Fanny face the reality of the situation.

MONDAY, JUNE 25 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST)
"Inherit the Wind"
When Fanny's attorney gives her shocking news, she takes it hard and makes the situation more awkward for Michelle. Making matters worse, Michelle has a run-in with the law when she takes off in Hubbell's car to blow off steam, only to break down in the driveway of a handsome, local recluse. Meanwhile, the girls compete against other dance studios in an "ugliest feet" contest.

Bunheads premieres Monday, June 11th at 9:00 on ABC Family following The Secret Life of the American Teenager. You can check out photos and sneak peeks from the premiere here, as well as an extended on-air promo here.

The second episode description for the new season (airing on June 12) teases a few spoilers: A new "A" player is in town and is determined to show the Liars that he/she means business. After getting a gruesome reminder that "A" is still calling the shots, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer try to quickly devise a plan on how to deal with this old/new threat and the usual game that has been taken up a notch. Spencer and Hanna continue to play with fire as they look for answers, while one of Aria’s past indiscretions becomes fodder for "A’s" game. Meanwhile, a still very shaky Emily tries to focus on school but could easily be derailed when she remembers a crucial piece from "that night."

Well, well, well. I'm guessing a new member of the so-called "A" team that Mona warned Spencer about has decided to step up and re-start the torment. Will Mona be able to provide clues about her allies or will she refuse to help?

Pretty Little Liars returns with an all new season on Tuesday, June 5 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.

"Season six opens with the Upper East Siders working together to find one of their own. Serena has gone off the grid, beyond even the reach of Gossip Girl. Her friends fear for the worst and hope for the best, but even they can’t imagine where they will ultimately find her. Meanwhile, Blair has offered Chuck her heart, but is her love enough to help him win back his empire? Lonely Boy Dan has written a new book that promises to make even more trouble than the first, and this time he has no desire to remain anonymous. Nate is determined to finally reveal the true identity of Gossip Girl, thereby making a name for The Spectator, and himself. Lily and Rufus turn on one another when Rufus makes a surprising new ally who threatens Lily and her family. Anywhere else it would be too much drama to handle, but this is the Upper East Side. And when Bart Bass, Jack Bass and Georgina Sparks show up to raise hell, it’s a fight to the spectacular series finale. Who comes out on top? That’s one secret I’ll never tell… xoxo, Gossip Girl."

Excited for this, Gossip Girl fans? It looks like Dan may be on the outs with his friends again after they see his new exposé novel, while Serena has once again vanished. But the big question is whether Chuck and Blair will make it to the end of the series as a couple. My money is on them figuring out a way for Chuck to re-take his empire.

Veep: Spoilers for June Episodes

Surprisingly enough, the Veep has had a couple of victories lately. Granted, for each one of them, there's a "yoghurt"-type incident to trip her back up, but she got her man on the Clean Jobs Bill, thanks to a rather smart ploy by Dan. And right now, her focus is still on getting a piece of legislation passed in her name, in order to gain positive press, impress the President, and pave the way for future projects. Oh, and help people, too, but that's...not exactly high up on the list.

Coming up on Veep, though, Selina will see that the Clean Jobs Bill might not have been the legislation to back as strongly as she has, especially considering the possible Congressional hearing it inspires.

Below are the initial air dates, episode names, episode descriptions, and repeat dates for the episodes seven and eight of Veep.

SUNDAY, JUNE 3 (10:10-10:40 p.m. ET/PT)
“Full Disclosure”
With the Veep (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and her staff taking flack over a pregnancy rumor and the firing of a Secret Service agent, Selina orders a “partial” full disclosure of all office correspondence. Later, she dispatches Dan (Reid Scott) to make sure the Macauley Amendment (i.e., the toxic Clean Jobs Bill) cannot be traced back to her. And with the perception growing that her office is nonfunctioning, Selina threatens to fire a key staffer.
Other HBO playdates: June 3 (12:20 a.m.), 5 (10:30 p.m.), 6 (9:00 p.m.) and 8 (9:30 p.m.)
HBO2 playdates: June 4 (8:00 p.m.), 5 (11:30 p.m.), 7 (11:00 p.m.), 8 (9:00 p.m.) and 9 (3:30 p.m. ET only, 5:15 p.m. PT only, 9:30 p.m. ET/PT)

SUNDAY, JUNE 10 (10:00-10:30 p.m.)
“Tears” (season finale)
Selina finds herself in Ohio to support Rep. Roger Furlong (Dan Bakkedahl) for governor, but given the Veep’s low approval rating, he no longer wants the endorsement. Meanwhile, the Clean Jobs Bill comes back to haunt Dan – in the form of a possible Congressional hearing. After Selina tears up in her meeting with Furlong, Mike (Matt Walsh) and Amy (Anna Chlumsky) decide to play up Selina’s tears even more, but have no idea how big a floodgate it will open.
Other HBO playdates: June 10 (midnight), 12 (10:30 p.m.) and 13 (9:00 p.m.)
HBO2 playdates: June 11 (8:00 p.m.), 12 (11:30 p.m.), 14 (11:00 p.m.) and 16 (3:15 p.m., 9:30 p.m.)

Veep airs Sundays at 10:00 on HBO. You can check out spoilers for the next two episodes here.

What can the Veep do to improve her approval rating? Did she make the right decision in backing the Clean Jobs Bill? How do you think all this will impact season 2 of Veep?

Graduating Seniors. Some fans have been concerned about what might be happening to the senior class graduates at the end of the year. Will they leave the show? Will the writers find a way to keep them in Ohio? Fox Entertainment president Kevin Reilly shed some light on what's in store for them in season 4. Apparently, Glee will go the show-within-a-show route and have a handful of the graduating seniors move to New York to attend a performing arts school. Glee will still be set in Ohio, and those scenes will revolve around a group of new high school students (who will be announced over the summer). If we had to guess, our money would be on Rachel, Finn and Kurt moving to New York and remaining on the show.

New Guest Stars. The days of "no high-profile guest stars" are over (although, were they every really on to begin with?). Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker will be appearing in season 4 in a multi-episode role. Meanwhile, Kate Hudson has also signed on for six episodes. There are no further details about their characters at this time.

A new episode of Glee airs on May 15. Watch sneak peeks for the special two-hour episode here.

Desperate Housewives Series Finale Spoilers: Who's Returning? What's Coming Next?

ABC has released details about the upcoming Desperate Housewives series finale. The show will bow out with a special two-hour episode on Sunday, May 13 and will include the return of Dana Delany.

Here's the details:

Desperate Housewives ends its successful eight-season run on the ABC Television Network with a splashy two-hour finale event on SUNDAY, MAY 13 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET). The show premiered on October3, 2004 and was a smash hit right out of the gate, winning both the 2005 and 2006 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series -- Musical or Comedy, among other accolades.

All good things eventually come to an end, and in the two-hour finale, "Give Me the Blame" / "Finishing the Hat," Trip (Scott Bakula) begs Bree to tell him what really happened the night of Alejandro’s murder as her trial begins to go south and it looks like she’s about to be convicted; Gaby tries to come up with a solution that will take the burden off of Bree; Susan tries to keep the sale of her house private until she’s had a chance to break the news to the ladies; Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany) returns to Wisteria Lane and offers Lynette an intriguing job opportunity – which could end her chances of reconciling with Tom; the women all agree to take care of Mrs. McCluskey when they discover that she wants to die with dignity at home; Susan finds herself at wits end when Julie goes into labor at the most inopportune time; and Renee is shocked to discover that, as their wedding nears, Ben has been arrested and thrown in jail.

Details for the finale have confirmed that four - yes, four - former guest stars will be returning for the episode. They are:

-Jamie Dornan as Huntsman
-Emilie de Ravin as Belle
-Kristin Bauer as Maleficent
-Sebastian Stan as Jefferson

This is going to be big, folks! In the fairytale world, Charming will attempt to escape from the Evil Queen's dungeon in order to save Snow White, who has already fallen under the apple's spell. Will we end up right back at the beginning of the show, with Charming awakening her from her coma with a kiss?

"A summer has passed since Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer found out about Mona being “A” and Maya’s death. With the terror seemingly over and an alleged murderer now behind bars, the town of Rosewood is slowly healing from old and new wounds and trying to get back to normalcy. Each of the four girls spent their summer in different ways – Aria taking a photography class, Spencer taking college courses at Hollis, Hanna taking cooking classes with Caleb and Emily building houses in Haiti. But what looks normal for each girl is not necessarily so, as all four are hardly over what happened. With post-traumatic stress, anger and the acquisition of more secrets the four Liars are anything but fine. Now all back together and coming upon the second anniversary of Alison’s disappearance, the girls find themselves back on the defensive when a shocking event rocks Rosewood."

It sounds like Mona's disappearance could dominate the third season. I'm hoping the girls will also be learning more about the people behind the "A" team. Are you excited for the return of Pretty Little Liars?

Now The CW has released spoilers for the season finale of Gossip Girl, titled "Return of the Ring". Blair will be targeted by Gossip Girl herself, far worse than she's ever been targeted before, and Serena has to admit that she may have played a role in Blair's current situation. But Blair's relationship troubles also heat up. The network says that "Blair will make a choice between the two men in her life…will it be Chuck or will it be Dan?" Place your bets on which boy Blair will choose.

Lily is also torn...not between two men, but she has to decide the future of her marriage in this episode. Nate, meanwhile, grows closer to Lola and invites her to move in with him.

The season finale of Gossip Girl airs on May 14 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

The L.A. Complex Preview: A Fun Take on the Struggling Actor/Musician/Dancer Story

The L.A. Complex technically isn't anything new. In fact, the basic outline - a group of young people trying to make it big in Hollywood - is a story that's been told many times. However, the good news is that The L.A. Complex is good enough to make the classic story enjoyable once again.

We open with one of our stars - Abby - a young Canadian actress trying to make it in Los Angeles. Only it's not going very well for Abby. She's being evicted for not paying her rent moments after her boyfriend back in Toronto is demanding she choose between him and acting. When her car breaks down on the way to an audition she seeks help from her friend, Tariq, who can't get out of work, but sends Nick along as a guardian angel. Nick not only helps Abby get her car running again, bhe also scores her a room in "The Lux" motel, a long-term-stay motel filled to the brim with struggling actors and musicians.

Joining Abby at the Lux are:

Connor: A charming actor with an Australian accent, Connor is the most successful actor of the bunch, having landed the starring role in a medical pilot that was officially picked up. He's moving out of The Lux into a new house, but he's celebrating his last night with a party for his friends. Nick introduces him to Abby and it's lust at first sight when the two hook up. While it's clear that the both of them want to keep things casual, it seems Connor might be quite enamored with the wanna-be actress.

Raquel: She's the only one of the group, besides Connor, who actually made it. A few years ago, Raquel had a starring role on a series which was, unfortunately, canceled. Although she's had some success, Raquel is still at the bottom of the barrel, going to auditions like everyone else, although she's not having very much success. She does, however, have the attitude of a diva. When Connor failed to land her the co-starring role on his new pilot, she explodes, and reveals that the two of them seem to have a hook-up kind of relationship. When Abby moves in, Raquel gets jealous...not only because Connor is clearly smitten with Abby, but also because she's just more competition for the jobs Raquel wants. This is a very different role for Jewel Staite, a mainstay actress in the sci-fi genre, but her tough exterior actually made her one of my favorite characters.

Tariq: For the past nine months, Tariq has been acting as the assistant for a music producer. Desperate to break into the rap music business, Tariq spends all his days picking up dry-cleaning, taking care of the boss' dogs and fetching lunch. He finally convinces Jay to listen to one of his tracks, but gets shot down two seconds into the song. It seems like Tariq's destined to work as a gofer, at least until he makes a risky move that could get him fired...or get him noticed.

Alicia: A beautiful dancer who also happens to be a sweetheart, Alicia is auditioning for an Usher tour when we first meet her. She's clearly talented and a veteran of the audition scene, doling out advice to the novices. But she's just as frustrated by the lack of career progression as her fellow Lux residents. She does, however, put that dancing talent to good use to make money on the side.

Nick: An aspiring comic, Nick spends his days as a barista in a coffee shop and his nights doing terrible routines at the Laugh Factory. The poor kid just isn't funny, but he's adorable, so we'll keep him. But comedy isn't the only thing he's failing at...he has terrible luck with women. As the cute, guy-next-door, he's more of a friend than a potential boyfriend.

In case you don't know, The L.A. Complex is a Canadian show that's actually shot entirely in Toronto (you'll be impressed by the scenery once you see it) and it's also based on a real L.A. motel, the Highland Gardens. It originally aired on the CTV and Much Music channels in Canada until The CW picked up the 6 episode series and brought it to U.S. for a short run. Back home in Canada, the show has been picked up for an additional 13 episodes in its first season. There's no word on whether those episodes will air on The CW, but if the show does well there's no reason why the American network won't bring it back.

Watch a two minute preview below for The L.A.

Veep: Spoilers for May Episodes

Vice President Selina Meyer may be in a little over her head. Once a major contender for the presidency, only to be brought down by a poor hat choice, Meyer has been left with a whole lot of grunt work. Instead of enacting real change and being the leader of the free world, she's trying to get her (relatively minor) pet projects through the D.C. wringer and onto the Senate floor for debate. And for some reason, the President still hasn't called her, despite using her as a fill-in speaker at a recent fundraiser. It's enough to overwhelm even the toughest of politicos, but judging by the descriptions of the next batch of episodes, her lack of political pull may be the least of her troubles.

Below are the initial air dates, episode names, episode descriptions, and repeat dates for the episodes three through six of Veep.

SUNDAY, MAY 6 (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT)
"Catherine"
Faced with a trumped-up story of a rift between the Veep and the First Lady, Selina (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) quells accusations that everything is about her – even though it is. The Veep’s office goes into spin control about the appointment of an “oil guy” to the Clean Jobs taskforce. Gary (Tony Hale) selects candidates for the VP dog, though Selina’s daughter Catherine (Sarah Sutherland), who is visiting from college, gets final say.
Other HBO playdates: May 6 (midnight), 8 (10:30 p.m.) and 9 (9:00 p.m.)
HBO2 playdates: May 7 (8:00 p.m.), 8 (11:30 p.m.), 10 (11:00 p.m.), 12 (3:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m.) and 18 (8:30 p.m.)

SUNDAY, MAY 13 (10:00-10:30 p.m.)
"Chung"
Dan (Reid Scott) and Amy (Anna Chlumsky) attend a book launch for Gov. Danny Chung (Randall Park), a charismatic Asian-American war hero, who Selina worries could be a political threat. Meanwhile, Selina preps with Mike (Matt Walsh) for a “Meet the Press” interview, landing on football as her “regular-people” talking point. Later, Gary and Amy discover that Selina has a lover.
Other HBO playdates: May 13 (midnight), 15 (10:30 p.m.) and 16 (9:00 p.m.)
HBO2 playdates: May 14 (8:00 p.m.), 15 (11:30 p.m.), 17 (11:15 p.m.), 18 (9:00 p.m.) and 19 (6:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m.)

SUNDAY, MAY 20 (10:00-10:30 p.m.)
“Nicknames”
Selina becomes obsessed with the many unflattering nicknames given to her by bloggers, and after being snubbed from a Senate briefing by the POTUS, assigns Dan to get White House intel from Jonah (Timothy C. Simons). Later, Dan’s political maneuvering puts the fate of the Clean Jobs Bill on the line.
Other HBO playdates: May 20 (midnight), 22 (9:00 p.m.) and 23 (9:00 p.m.)
HBO2 playdates: May 21 (8:00 p.m.), 22 (11:30 p.m.), 24 (11:15 p.m.) and 26 (4:30 p.m., 9:30 pm)

SUNDAY, MAY 27 (10:00-10:30 p.m.)
“Baseball”
Selina attends a healthy eating event at Camden Yards with some very grumpy fast-food executives, where she also confides a secret to Amy. Mike holds a press briefing for some local news pals, save for the inquisitive Leon West (Brian Huskey). Later, with the Veep delayed, Amy and Dan are forced to entertain elementary school children.
Other HBO playdates: May 27 (midnight), 29 (10:30 p.m.) and 30 (9:00 p.m.)
HBO2 playdates: May 28 (8:00 p.m.), 29 (11:30 p.m.) and 31 (11:00 p.m.)

Veep airs Sundays at 10:00 on HBO. Details for next week's episode, titled “Frozen Yoghurt”, can be found here, while the pilot can be viewed for free (for a limited time) on Youtube and HBO.com.

If you've already watched the Veep pilot, what did you think about it? Are you excited to see Selina try to learn how to be an effective Vice President? Do you think either of her projects will see any progress?

Spoilers: Is Patrick Jane Hitting Bottom on The Mentalist? Plus: Community, Vampire Diaries & Person of Interest

The Mentalist | What's this about Patrick Jane shooting someone? It's already been revealed that in the May 17th season finale, "The Crimson Hat," Jane "shoots one of his own," but costar Owain Yeoman has let a few more important details slip. He tells TVLine that the shooting promises to be “a really, really big deal for us,” and the episode is sure to be “our most action-packed finale to date.”

Luckily for Jane, a new character, a Vegas cocktail waitress played by Emmanuelle Chriqui, is rumored to come to his rescue. According to TVGuide, Loralei will appear in the season finale and also five episodes next season as Jane's new love interest. Creator Bruno Heller reveals to TVGuide, "It's certainly not a fling and it's not a spur-of-the-moment booty call or anything like that. She comes into Jane's life at a very, very low ebb. He's at a moment when he really needs a helping hand and a little ray of light, and she provides that."

Community | It's the death everyone's been talking about for months, and I can't say I'm surprised. I mean, we've grown to expect deaths on all of our favorite drama series, but now we need to be on our toes for our favorite comedy series, too? At least, it's beginning to sound like it won't be too bad. Yvette Nicole Brown tells EOnline that while viewers will be "shocked" by the death on the April 26 episode, "Basic Lupine Urology," they'll recover given enough time. That's right, Community fans, you won't need as many kleenex as you first thought.

And if you missed this week's episode, "Virtual Systems Analysis," you can catch our recap here.

The Vampire Diaries | The show really threw us for a loop recently when the writers revealed that killing an Original would then erase that entire bloodline. And, of course, the news has now left all our characters with a very big decision: Who's ready to sacrifice themselves for the greater good? Candice Accola summed up the May 10 season finale, "The Departed," pretty well to TVLine: "Everyone’s going to be paired up [with an Original] and we’re going to see who’s willing.” But at the same time, if you're thinking there'll be a death in that episode, beware. Accola cryptically teases, “It doesn’t [necessarily] happen in the finale."

Meanwhile, Joseph Morgan was a little more forthcoming to Zap2it on the sure to be "epic" finale: "The last twenty seconds of the episode will leave people with their hearts in their mouths." And if that information wasn't alarming enough, he also goes on to say, "It's going to change the world of 'The Vampire Diaries' forever. You should be scared! I think not everyone's going to like it; it's going to provoke some strong opinions. It's really going to get people talking, and that's what we want." As of now, we have three weeks to mentally prepare, guys.

But first, in next week's episode "Do Not Go Gentle," Mystic Falls High will be hosting a 1920s Decade Dance. A photo preview of our dashing cast in costume can be found here.

Then on the May 3 episode "Before Sunset," it's going to be getting even crazier. Klaus has finally had it with Mystic Falls, and he's ready to leave town, which means taking Elena with him. A photo preview for this penultimate episode can be seen here.

Plus, don't forget to get caught up with this week's big Delena episode, "Heart of Darkness," by checking out our review here.

Person of Interest | I know I'm not the only one who gets excited when Joss Whedon alumni show up on other shows, so you'll definitely want to pay attention to this latest bit of casting news. TVGuide reports that Amy Acker (of Angel, Dollhouse and the newly released Cabin in the Woods fame) is set to guest-star on the May 17 season finale, "Firewall". And she may again be donning a lab coat for the occasion, as she'll play a psychologist for the rich and powerful who knows just enough secrets that someone is willing to kill her to keep them safe.

Nikita "Wrath" Advance Preview: An Intense Episode With a Big Emotional Payoff

Anyone can appreciate the action-packed episodes of Nikita, but there's something to be said for the episodes that contain quiet and desperate introspection. Tonight's all new episode, titled "Wrath", is one that allows Maggie Q. to shine as Nikita tries to come to terms with the person that she is. At the beginning of the episode there's a sense of uncertainty. Alex has given up her claims to the Zetrov company and her mother is safely tucked away.

Amanda and Ari are on the run and Nikita admits that she thinks their mission is over. All that's left is for Madeline to deal the final blow to Division and Nikita and Michael can walk away with their presidential pardons. But the couple both feel uncertain about their future. After all, they've been fighting these enemies (together and separately) for so long, that it's hard to know what to do with themselves when the fighting is done.

Only the fighting isn't done.

Is Percy Going Nuclear? Percy has made a deal with a former arms dealer named Nicholas Brant (guest star Rick Ravanello, who does a great job with his role). He agrees to spring Brant from prison if Brant will supply him with plutonium. Percy with a nuclear bomb? This is worrisome. If you're been reading the episode synopses, you'll know this becomes important in an upcoming episode.

A Blast From Nikita's Past. It won't spoil you to know that Nikita and her motley crew soon realize that Percy has taken control of Division. But that's the least of their concerns right now, because Nikita soon realizes that Brant is free and reveals that she has a history with him. Back in her Division days, she infiltrated Brant's organization. Disgusted at the kind of man he was, she made sure to inflict retribution when she finally managed to bring him down. But now he's out for revenge and he sets his sights on kidnapping and torturing the woman who betrayed him.

Nikita Looks Within Herself...But Does She Like Who She Sees? Nikita's torture is a tough thing to watch, not only because she's in pain, but because her encounter with Brant forces her to look inside of herself and come to some harsh realizations. In fact, Nikita's tale in this episode is really a tale of morality. It's clear that she abhors the things she did while working for Division, but can we truly deny that some of the people she killed or hurt actually deserved it? As Percy says, there are monsters in this world.

Michael and Nikita Examine Their Relationship. As I mentioned, both Nikita and Michael feel uncertain for their future. Not because they don't love one another, but because it seems nearly incomprehensible to imagine a future that isn't filled with them running for their lives. And I don't want Mikita fans to worry, because there's so much amazing relationship stuff between the couple in this episode, even if they feel a bit shaky at points. In fact, Michael makes a choice at one point that brings the two of them to a confrontational level we rarely see in their relationship. As an admirer of their relationship, it seems odd to praise a scene like this, but it's so worth it. The performances of Maggie Q. and Shane West are nothing short of amazing.

No One is Safe. The safety felt in the first few moments of the episode are instantly shattered when someone we know dies in the first ten minutes. I won't even try to hint who it may be except to say that it also allows for another actor to reach satisfying emotional levels.

There aren't enough good things to be said about tonight's all new Nikita. The performances are stellar and even though the season arc doesn't necessarily progress, the episode feels like a necessary break from the action in order for the characters to re-center themselves so that they can focus on defeating Percy once again.

Don't miss an all new Nikita tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. Watch a trailer and producer's preview for the episode below.

Supernatural 7.22 Spoilers: Will An Alpha Appear? Plus, Sam & Dean Get Help From Their Friends

You might recall that several Alphas appeared throughout the sixth season of Supernatural. Crowley (and Castiel) were tracking and torturing Alphas for information about Purgatory. One of them - my favorite one, in fact - will be making a return appearance in the upcoming May 11 episode.

Titled "There Will Be Blood", the May 11th Supernatural finds the Winchesters having to locate three items in order to defeat Dick Roman and the Leviathans. Castiel (guest star Misha Collins) will be helping the boys find one of the items, but the last two objects pose some difficulty. Sam and Dean must seek out the Alpha Vampire (guest star Rick Worthy) and Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) in order to find them. Jim Beaver will also be returning as Bobby in this episode, but fans who hoped that he would be brought back to life may have to wait a bit longer (assuming that's the end game). In this episode he's still a ghost, but he's trying out a new trick that could have disastrous consequences.

Guy Bee directed this episode, which was written by Andrew Dabb and Daniel Loflin. Can we all pause here for a moment to appreciate something? The Winchesters, the Alpha Vampire, Crowley, Castiel and Bobby all together in one episode. And it's not even Christmas! This will be the penultimate episode, leading up to the season 7 finale on May 18.

Supernatural returns with all new episodes on April 20. For more coverage of the show, including spoilers, photos, reviews, sneak peeks and more, browse and bookmark our Supernatural page. You can also watch the latest Hulu episodes on our page.

Supernatural Spoilers: When Will Castiel Return? And Will the Winchesters Face Angels Again?

One of our favorite Supernatural angels was last spotted in episode 7.17. After Sam had a breakdown and was committed to a mental hospital, Dean went in search for a true healer that could fix his brother. What he found was a man named Emmanuel, who was actually an amnesiac Castiel. Dean brought his old pal back to save Sam, but didn't want to reveal his true identity until they were faced with a group of demons they couldn't get past.

Castiel did manage to smite the hell out of the demons and remembered everything, including the sins he had committed in an effort to defeat Raphael. Later, he was unable to heal Sam, as the wall in his head was simply too crumbled to piece back together. Feeling horribly guilty for having put Sam in this position, Castiel was able to "transfer" Sam's Hell hallucinations to himself, leaving him in a sort of comatose state in the mental hospital. The Winchesters left Meg to watch over Castiel.

Castiel is scheduled to return in the May 4 episode of Supernatural, titled "Reading is Fundamental". Meg calls the Winchesters to let them know that their old friend is awake. How this happens, we don't know. But we do know that a teenager named Kevin (guest star Osric Chau) gets hit by a bolt of lightening and is turned into a reluctant prophet. The Winchesters believe Kevin is the key to finally defeating the Leviathans, but two Archangels (remember those?) return to claim Kevin for their own purposes. Will Castiel reunite with the Winchesters to fight off Heaven's soldiers once again?

This episode was written and directed by fan favorite writer Ben Edlund, who is not only a terrific writer, but also penned the last Castiel-centric episode "The Man Who Would be King".

Supernatural is currently on hiatus until April 20. For more coverage of the show, including spoilers, photos, reviews, sneak peeks and more, browse and bookmark our Supernatural page. You can also watch the latest Hulu episodes on our page.

Note: Wow, there's a lot of back and forth in the comments. Normally I wouldn't bother updating a post, but I think we should settle the ratings debate for 7.17 once and for all. I don't think that the ratings for that episode are in any way indicative of the popularity of the Castiel character, either in a positive or negative manner. The Hunger Games movie opened that Friday and was extremely popular (you should all see it, I thought it was great!), which likely did affect the live ratings. The DVR numbers were still good and The CW is a network that pays a great deal of attention to DVR, Live + 7 and online ratings, perhaps even moreso than other networks. Whether or not the ratings were slightly lower (or even higher) for that particular episode doesn't speak to Castiel at all. At this point, Supernatural is a show in its 7th season. The ratings are what they are. The only thing that will likely affect the ratings in a meaningful way is a season premiere or finale, or the eventual series finale. Whether you bring back Castiel, Bobby, or even Jeffrey Dean Morgan, chances are nothing big will change. The show occasionally dips for a single episode, but not enough to have a significant impact.

The only thing that is important is the fact that both The CW and Warner Bros. are comfortable enough with the ratings that the show will very likely be renewed for an eighth season.

Once Upon a Time Spoilers: Regina Comes Up With a New Plan & Geppetto's Story is Told

There are a lot of wildly conflicting theories about the true identity of August on Once Upon a Time. In the beginning, I heard theories that he is actually a grown-up version of Henry, which, to be honest, didn't make much sense to be at the time, since Henry never existed in the fairytale world. Another theory is that he's actually Rumplestiltskin's son, and this theory may be proven/disproved in the upcoming April 22 episode, which revolves around Rumpel and Mr. Gold (view photos).

Whatever August's true identity (which I sincerely hope we learn before the end of the first season of Once Upon a Time), he is clearly important to the story. In fact, in the upcoming April 29 episode, titled "The Stranger", August wants to enlighten Emma about this whole Storybrooke situation and takes her on a journey to figure out a way to beat Regina and maybe even take back custody of Henry.

Meanwhile, Mary Margaret has been cleared of any murder charges once it was revealed that Kathryn isn't actually dead, and will be returning to work in the April 29 episode. But Regina is still determined to make sure she doesn't get her happily ever after, so she sets out to seduce David. I personally don't think Mary Margaret and David 'shippers have much to worry about. Just because Regina tries to seduce David, doesn't mean he'll fall for her "charms".

Finally, the fairytale story in the episode will focus on Geppetto. We'll be revisiting the period right before the Queen's curse took effect and Geppetto worked on the special wardrobe to bring Emma to our world. This time, a previously unknown piece of information will be revealed: he agreed to help Charming and Snow's daughter with a proviso that could also save his son.

But don't let the happy news get you too comfy because our spoilery eyes are already set on the the May 14 season finale, “The Past in the Present”. EP Hart Hanson recently tweeted about the episode, saying the writers are currently in a 'spirited debate' on what should be the last image of this season. Hanson tells EW, "We have options as to how it motors us into season 8. There’s a see-saw between hope and confidence and vulnerability and fear that we have to walk."

What could possibly have the writers so at odds? We fear it may have something to do with the return of serial killer Christopher Pellant (Andrew Leeds) in the finale. David Boreanaz reveals to Zap2it, "I do know that it'll be pretty dangerous, and it'll be detrimental to both [Booth and Brennan], and someone may not survive." Emily Deschanel adds, "It changes things for Brennan, Booth and their child in a way that they'll probably never be the same." Why does this news not give me warm fuzzy feelings?

For more on what you can expect from the rest of this season, check out our special Bones spoiler post.

We also have the latest photo preview and sneak peeks for next week's all-new episode "The Bump in the Road".

Castle | If there's one thing in TV that needs to remain constant, it's that Nathan Fillion should always portray a street smart hero opposite Adam Baldwin's dumb lackey. So pardon me if I need a minute to deal with this latest bit of casting news. In the upcoming April 16 episode "Headhunters," Nathan and Adam, who previously worked together on the short-lived series Firefly, will reunite onscreen when Castle ditches Beckett to shadow tough-guy cop, Ethan Slaughter. Baldwin explains the deal to TVGuide, "It's flipped. Nathan's the dumb one this time." And Fillion doesn't disagree, "Yup. Adam's in control, pulling the strings and I'm tagging along in the dark." Help, my world is all askew.

To get an early look at Nathan and Adam together again, you won't want to miss our photo preview for "Headhunters".

If you missed this week's episode "The Limey," we also have your review right here.

And since it's now April, we're also beginning our descent toward the end of the season. For May sweeps, TVLine reveals that someone we haven't seen all year is set to return. Could it be the mysterious 3XK? If so, this may go a long way toward explaining what Jon Huertas meant about a very interesting conclusion to the season for Castle and Beckett. Huertas teases TVLine about the finale, “I think the audience is going to be surprised about what happens between Castle and Beckett. More surprised than they ever have been.” Dun, dun, dun.

House | In a previous spoiler post we reported that Olivia Wilde is set to return for the important series finale to air on May 21. But thanks to EW, we can now add one more very special name to the guest-star list: Kal Penn. Only Penn's character Dr. Kutner committed suicide in the fifth season episode "Simple Explanation," so a reappearance by his character could presumably reveal a lot about the plot of the final episode of House, written by series creator David Shore. What's your guess on how this dearly departed character will show up?

We also still don't have a title for this rapidly approaching episode, but what we can expect to see is becoming a little bit clearer. TVGuide has the latest from Robert Sean Leonard on what he says will be just another day at the office for House and Wilson, "I think the show is going to end very abruptly and in a very surprising way because, as happens in life, you don't live the ending. You just live your life." Check, no wrap up for the show or characters.

Bones Spoilers: The Baby, Becoming New Parents and What's Next for the Season

Bones returns this week with an all new episode after a four month hiatus. A move to Monday nights isn't the only change for the rest of the season. The birth of Booth and Brennan's baby will herald a new family and a new set of challenges as Bones winds down to its season finale in May.

A recent call with EPs Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan revealed a few hints about what will/won't change after the baby is born and what's in store for the remainder of the season.

The Show's Focus: Bones may be welcoming a new baby, but that doesn't mean the show will fundamentally change. Nathan assured us that "there’s always been that balancing act in the show of their personal life and the cases, but we’re a murder show, so that will not change. But when we do go home, they have a new arrival, which changes their lives, so the baby will be a part of the show, because it’s a part of their lives. But somebody is still going to be murdered in a heinous and cruel way, and we will be revolted at the beginning of the show as we always have been and hopefully we’ll catch them."

Bureaucratic Complications: Some Bones fans might be wondering whether the fact that Booth and Brennan are in a relationship - with a baby! - might become a problem for their jobs. Rest assured, the FBI and the Jeffersonian won't be causing any problems for the duo. Hanson explained that "we’re not planning a storyline in which the FBI says you can’t be partners. We discussed it and then we thought 'God, if we tell that story, there isn’t a single audience member who’s going to go, oh my God, I wonder if they’ll never be allowed to work together again.' So we just decided not to do it. It may come up time to time, especially from Sweets that it’s odd to have a couple working together, but it’s not the oddest thing in the world."

Booth & Brennan as New Parents: Brennan is going to be very surprised at the way becoming a mother will change her. She spent the first half of the season trying to get used to the hormones that came along with being pregnant and now the baby will change her in subtle ways. "We’ve always seen Brennan as a character who, because of her upbringing, was kind of afraid of life, did not want to engage with life, or had to be protected by a veneer of rationality and logic and science," Hanson explained. Booth was the first person to really come along and challenge her view of life and relationships. "And now she has a child, and you might be able to avoid a lover as someone whose happiness, your happiness is contingent upon, but definitely not a child. So that’s what she is contending with, she is now a big open bruise because of another human being and she will find that very disorienting."

Nathan went on to clarify that "Brennan is so objective even about herself that she is caught off guard by all these new feelings. I think that’s what’s great for us in terms of writing the show. We get to see a character who is as astonished by these new feelings and this new behavior as the audience is." Even something as small as leaving the baby when she returns to work in the April 9 episode of Bones will affect Brennan. As for Booth, he will also have issues to deal with, including the give-and-pull of co-parenting with Brennan. "It’s like how much is she going to pay for and how much is he going to pay for? We get a lot of comedy out of it, as well as character stuff. It’s a good, fertile field for us." The issue of who will be taking care of the baby will be addressed as well as "how is Brennan going to juggle her, being a mom [and] living with Booth, how is Booth going to juggle her and the baby and do their jobs. But they’re still doing their jobs."

Stories that Got Lost in the Shuffle: Because this season of Bones has five fewer episodes than normal, some stories admittedly fell to the wayside. Hanson said that they likely would have explored more about Booth and Hodgins' families if this had been a normal season. But now that Bones has already been renewed for an eighth season, there's every reason to believe these storylines will appear next year. In fact, Nathan said that we should see more with the characters' extended families next season.

Pelant and the Bones Season Finale: We know that this season's big bad, Pelant, will be returning for the season finale, but Nathan warned that "he really is going to turn the series on its head for a little bit. He has much more power than any of our serial bad guys have had in the past." Yikes!

Brennan and Angela's Friendship: The two women will continue to bond this season, because of the fact that they're both new mothers and because they're genuinely good friends. We'll see the two of them leaving the lab and playing hooky, as well as bonding over their new, similar lives. Hanson also teased that "I think in the season ender the audience will get a very good feeling for how close Angela and Brennan are. In some ways Angela knows Brennan better than Booth does in that way that another friend of the same sex can understand you more than your partner."

Those Four Extra Episodes: Unfortunately, Hanson and Nathan mentioned that they're still unsure what will happen to the four additional episodes that were filmed. No air date has been set for them yet. Nathan said "all we know is that we have a season ender, and that will leave us with four extra episodes that have to be able to be slotted anywhere at any time without notice." The EP reiterated that the four episodes won't be related to the main arc of the season. "They’re more stylized than we normally would do, and we were able to try to tackle stories that we might not normally have tackled, because we don’t know how old the baby is going to be. We don’t know what’s going to happen between relationships between people, so these really were standalone," Nathan said.

Bones returns with all new episodes on Monday, April 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. For some sneak peeks of upcoming episodes, browse our Bones page.

HBO's Veep brings together Emmy winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus with Oscar nominee Armando Iannucci and follows the promotion of promising senator Selina Meyer to the second highest office in the land. Over the course of the first season of the show, we'll be tagging along with Selina as she finds out what the VP actually does (and doesn't) do and tries to keep her head above water in the increasingly hostile field of politics.

Below are the initial air dates, episode names, episode descriptions, and repeat dates for the first two episodes of Veep. The series is slated to have eight episodes in its first season.

Once Upon a Time Spoilers: Mr. Gold Searches for Answers

After an exciting episode of Once Upon a Time this week that finally revealed the rift between Snow White and the Evil Queen, the show is on hiatus until April 22.

But when Once Upon a Time returns, the show will once again be focusing on Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin. The next episode, titled "The Return", has Mr. Gold searching for answers about the mysterious August, who rode into town many episodes ago and has remained an enigma ever since. A preview for the episode (view it here) indicates that August and Mr. Gold might actually have a connection...one that won't necessarily work out well for one of them.

In the fairytale world, we'll once again be going back into Rumplestiltskin's past. Remember when he used to be a harmless villager who was just trying to protect his son, until he took on magic that turned him crazy/evil? The show will be picking up again after that point, when Rumple has agreed to let his son figure out a way to safely rid him of his powers so that he can go back to the man that he used to be. Of course, we know that the boy isn't successful, but it will be interesting to see what happens.

Meanwhile, Emma decides to confront Regina about the part she played in Kathryn's disappearance now that David's wife has returned, while David tries hard to reconcile with Mary Margaret.

Once Upon a Time airs on Sunday nights at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: Who's the Upcoming Chief of Seattle Grace?

It's no surprise that “tension” will be in the air in the upcoming Grey's Anatomy episode airing April 5th. The current chief of Seattle Grace, Dr. Hunt (Kevin McKidd), who has been going through some hard patches in his marriage to Dr. Yang (Sandra Oh), now adds a bigger challenge of his recent confession to having had an "affair". Will Owen be able to handle the boiling point of his marriage and his leading chief position at Seattle Grace?

View photos for the April 5th episode.

In the following episode of Grey's Anatomy on April 12, titled "Support System", Mark will be taking the lead role of chief. Now hold your excitement, because this will be a one day position. Dr. Sloan will take his position very seriously and I’m hoping for some comedic fun. We all know it wouldn’t be Mark if he didn’t use some of that charm to his advantage.

While Mark’s taking care of things over at Seattle Grace, Owen finds himself having to confront Christina about his said “affair”. I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes, because he’s got some serious explaining to do.

We all know Teddy (Kim Raver) hasn’t had the best of times after her husband’s death—it’s been hard to see her cope in her strong and determined ways. Thankfully, Callie (Sarah Ramirez), Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), and Bailey (Chanda Wilson) have planned a girl’s night in this episode. Can somebody say ‘finally’! After all she’s been through, a night out in the city might be just what she needs.

Tune in to all new episodes of Grey's Anatomy returning on April 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

Spoilers: How Will the Finale of Criminal Minds Go Down? Plus: CSI & Revenge

Criminal Minds | It's official! CBS has set the two-hour season finale for May 16th. And the episode, titled "Run," is sure to have everyone on the edge of their seat. An attack on a federal bank, a BAU member taken hostage, and the exit of Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster) is just some of what you can expect. Plus, let's not forget about the villain. TVLine reports that Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Helfer has been cast as someone who, in her own words, is "definitely a bad character".

But if you're thinking the episode will leave us with a wretched cliffhanger, then you haven't heard about the surprise wedding. EP Erica Messer tells TVGuide, "They'll all have a really rough Saturday with a hostage situation and then a really lovely Sunday. To end a season on a happy note instead of blowing something up is very unusual for us." So who's getting married? Well, the news that we'll be meeting J.J.'s mother Sandy during the finale should help clue you in.

CSI | With all the murders and cases our team solves every week, we seldom, if ever, get the chance to look into their lives at home with their families. Well, make way for Meghan and Kaitlyn, Russell's daughter and granddaughter. Soon these two very important ladies in Russell's life will be dropping by to pay him a surprise visit. And we're hearing from E!Online, there's even a possibility we'll see them again in future episodes. I'm all for the writers bringing a little levity to CSI. How about you?

Especially considering this latest piece of spoiler news. The season finale "Homecoming", airing May 9th, is going to bring an old CSI enemy crashing back. Ex-Undersheriff Jeffrey McKeen (Conor O'Farrell), who you may remember killed Warrick in the season 8 episode "For Gedda," will make his return and threaten the team. The catch? TVGuide reveals that the show is also casting an actor to play McKeen's son. Hm, what could that be about?

Revenge | I know you're all getting antsy for the return of Revenge, but unfortunately, the next all-new episode, "Doubt," is still set for April 18th. I do, however, bring you a little bit of good tidings. A week earlier, on April 11th, you can still tune in for the special catch-up episode "From the Beginning". That is, if you feel like you're in need of a recap on everything you might have missed this season. Hey, at the least, it'll help make your wait a little less.

And the only other spoiler I have for you is the ongoing battle for Charlotte's soul. In the episodes leading up to the finale, she'll still be chugging down pills to cope with all the changes happening around her. As for whether learning Emily's identity will soon add to that mix, Christa B. Allen teases E!Online, "It could either be this amazing collaboration that happens where Charlotte starts to learn some of her ways and almost become an accomplice or an ally or Charlotte could be the next ice queen."

Meanwhile, we already know that Elizabeth Hurley is set to reprise her role as Diana Payne in the April 9 episode (read more spoilers), and she'll also be sticking around on April 16 when she and Serena have secrets that could potentially be exposed. Serena will also be trying to turn her cousin Lola into the newest It Girl in New York society in the April 9 episode, but in the April 16 episode Lola manages to score an impressive audition. Unfortunately, Gossip Girl's plans for Lola might prevent her from going through with it. Ivy will continue to be a problem for Lily, as she and Rufus fight over how to handle the whole inheritance situation.

Gossip Girl returns with all new episodes on April 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. For more on the show, check out our Gossip Girl page.

The Vampire Diaries Spoilers: When Will Tyler Return? And What's Next for Jeremy?

As season 2 of The Vampire Diaries starts to kick it in high gear while approaching the finale, it seems like the cast will be reuniting in Mystic Falls. Tyler has been gone for several episodes now, while Jeremy was also sent off to Denver for his own protection, only to briefly appear at the end of the last episode.

Both men will be appearing in the upcoming April 19 episode of The Vampire Diaries, titled "Heart of Darkness". Tyler finally returns to Mystic Falls, which thrills Caroline to no end, but Tyler soon starts to realize that Klaus has a serious crush on his girl and wonders whether Caroline reciprocates his feelings. Meanwhile, Jeremy will also be seen again when Elena and Damon head to Denver to make sure he's safe. We're not sure whether he's found another town full of vampires, but Elena and Damon soon realize that Jeremy's been hanging out with a bad crowd. Will he be able to pull his act together in time to help them use his special abilities to learn more about ancient vampire bloodlines?

Meanwhile, Matt will be spending his time distracting Rebekah by having her organize the upcoming 1920s Decade Dance (because The Vampire Diaries needs to have multiple dances every season).
