Seems like us Teen Wolf fans will be howling again next summer...
Fresh off an epic episode, the cast and crew of MTV's Teen Wolf was handsomely rewarded with a second season, according to Deadline Hollywood.
The show, which averages 1.7 million viewers per episode, will return next summer with 12 more episodes of dark humor and neck-snapping plot twists that has captured millions on a weekly basis.
MTV's Head of Programming David Janollari told Zap2It just how proud he was of the series and how its success was helping the network in their quest to bring more scripted fare to the iconic channel. "Jeff Davis has brought an exciting, cinematic story to life with a breakout young cast who our audience has wildly embraced," Janollari told Zap2It.
Creator Jeff Davis also voiced his happiness with Zap2It's Tierney Bricker about getting a second chance to work with the cast and crew, which he says gives him the "opportunity to tell more stories" on a weekly basis.
Mostly compared to The CW's The Vampire Diaries, and even Buffy the Vampire Slayer to some extent, Teen Wolf has constantly managed to suck viewers in each week with its tale of Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and his complications being a newbie werewolf after being bitten by one of the creatures in his small town of Beacon Falls. Also starring in the show is Crystal Reed, Dylan O'Brien, Holland Roden, Tyler Hoechlin, and Colton Haynes also star in the MTV hit.
With this confirmation of a second season of Teen Wolf, I just have to ask: Do you think they will reveal the Alpha this season or next? And if they do, will he/she factor big into next season's story line?

I think that we'll get the reveal right at the end but it'll be a jaw dropper that'll keep us talking until next season…do we really have to wait to next summer?…I'm having enough trouble waiting a week.
