The Americans Clips – Behind the Scenes and Week 1 Recap

With The Americans, FX has further galvanized their reputation of offering creative, cutting edge entertainment that stands apart from the rest of the television sphere.  Shows like Justified and Sons of Anarchy were some of the early ‘brand standards’ for the off-network arm of FOX, and with the arrival of The Americans FX is now fully prepared to go nose to nose with any other producer of outside the broadcast-beltway material.  Seriously.

Already considered to be a hit for the channel, The Americans is still buzzing up and down the critical wire and with this weeks episode things only get better.   In case you happened to have missed week one, though, the kind folks at FX has put together a video recap to bring you up to speed, just in time for tomorrow’s all new episode “The Clock” airing Wednesday at 10pm on FX.  Check it out if you want to maintain your status as the person who watches all the ‘it’ shows.
