The Carrie Diaries 1.09 Spoilers: Dorrit Goes Missing

the carrie diariesDorrit has been unable to handle the recent flurry of change in the Bradshaw house. The loss of her mother brought about resentment of her sister and defiance toward her father, which have manifested in dark eye make-up, a shorter fuse, and the penchant for running away when things get too heavy. Whether it be due to age, immaturity, or lack of experience in dealing with grief, Dorrit becoming more withdrawn should be worrying to all those around here. There’s being a difficult teenager and there’s crying out for attention/help, the latter of which Dorrit has seemed to be doing for the duration of The Carrie Diaries. Coming up, though, she makes her most drastic statement yet by disappearing under Carrie’s watch. Will anyone listen this time?

Listed below are the title and description of the March 11th episode of The Carrie Diaries, the ninth of the 13-episode first season.

Monday, March 11th – “The Great Unknown”
When Dorrit (Stefania Owen) goes missing under Carrie’s (AnnaSophia Robb) watch, Carrie lashes out at Sebastian (Austin Butler), the one person who can help her find Dorrit. Mouse (Ellen Wong) butts heads with West (guest star RJ Brown), a popular jock who, much to her chagrin, stole her spot as number one in the class. Walt (Brendan Dooling) surprises himself when he confides in someone completely unexpected. Meanwhile, Tom (Matt Letscher) finds himself in uncharted territory when it comes to women and turns to Larissa (Freema Agyeman) for advice.

The Carrie Diaries airs Mondays at 8:00 on The CW. You can check out spoilers for upcoming episodes here and here.

Are you surprised that Tom looks to Larissa for dating advice? Where would Dorrit go to be away from her family and have a little time to herself? Will an unexpected confidante help Walt ease toward coming out?
