To survive in the world of The Lying Game, you have to keep things close to the vest. Sharing information may be good for solidifying alliances and stocking ammo to be used against a common threat, but let too much slip and you leave yourself open to destruction. You never know who will get wind of what you unleash into the world and if the wrong person hears something from you that they don’t like, your fate might have been sealed.
On the next episode of The Lying Game, Mads reveals a major Rybak family secret to Emma after visiting Alec in jail. For the most part, Mads has been keen to lay low and let others do a majority of the dirty work, so it’s a surprise to see her opening up in a way that could come back to haunt her. There’s no guarantee that Alec will be staying incarcerated and if she has given up something pivotal about their family to someone who he hates, Mads might have to find a place of refuge away from her father. Alec might be a lot of things, but he’s not one to let something like that slide, not after being put in jail by his children.
Elsewhere on The Lying Game, Sutton makes no secret of her desire to be with Ethan again, no matter how it makes Emma feel, while Dan looks into Derek’s murder and after starting a new school, Jordan has his eye on Laurel.
