With the departure of The Office's Steve Carell to occur soon (with a special 50 minute episode), it's time to bring in some new characters.  First up is guest star Will Ferrell, who will play DeAngelo Vickers, the new boss at the Scranton Dunder-Mifflin office.  We're unsure exactly how long Ferrell will be sticking around, but on the April 14 episode he will be introduced as the new boss, with Michael Scott having made the announcement that he'll be moving to Colorado to be with his fiance, Holly.

THR reports that Ferrell will be making his final appearance in the hour-long season finale, which will also feature Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, Ray Romano, James Spader and Catherine Tate as guest stars.
