Tonight on The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Three Wigs and a Baby

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Three Wigs and a BabyOn tonight's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the wives are either continuing to deal with parts of their past in order to better understand their present or diving head first into an uncertain (but welcome) future that once seemed unattainable.

One cast member mixing it up with the ghosts of her past is Cynthia, as she heads to New York to visit former flame Russell Simmons. Before you start thinking the generally meek Miss Bailey is two-timing her husband Peter, know that this visit is purely business and related to Cynthia's recently opened modeling school. Russell Simmons is a media mogul, having written best selling books, ran record companies, and managed a highly successful fashion line, so it's not a bad idea to tap into that kind of business acumen if you're trying to get something off the ground like Cynthia is. The second preview below highlights their obvious personal chemistry, though, as the two have a nice vibe together when they recount their past lives with one another.

You can get another sneak peek at Cynthia getting ready to go to meet Russell right here, where she reveals that Nene will be in New York at the same time.

Looking to the future is Kim Zolciak, who has been a little more subdued and ancillary to this season's typical The Real Housewives of Atlanta foolishness thanks to being pregnant by (then) boyfriend Kroy Biermann. If you've been missing Kim being Kim, "Three Wigs and a Baby" may be the episode to turn season four around for you, as it looks like we'll be seeing the littlest Zolciak by the time the closing credits roll. In the third preview below, it's the calm before the parenthood, with Kim having gotten an epidural, Kroy trying to keep it together, and Arianna, Brielle, and Sweetie checking in on the progress of their future family member. Once the latter three leave, Kim lets loose a string of bleeps that are surely a sign of a hilarious yet ultimately touching first look at the new baby.

(Also, the doctor's name is Dr. Hood? Perfect.)

But before Baby Z makes his entrance into the world, likely with wig slightly askew, take a look at Kim and Kroy getting news about Kim's health condition right here.

Also setting her eyes to the future is Nene, who has apparently found a new potential match in her business partner John. After having some random sex with Greg and dealing with former date Charles at the opening of Bar One, Nene needs somebody to sweep her off her feet and an effusively complimentary John may be the one to bring a little romance into The Real Housewives of Atlanta. While Nene is off starting over, Sheree is talking to her mom about her indecisiveness over taking Bob to court for child support after he's not paid anything for four years. It turns out, learning about her mother's own journey to getting child support may have been the key to inspiring Sheree to take care of the matter herself. Can Sheree break the cycle of deadbeat dads and set a good example for Callie and Cairo?

Finally, Kandi will be getting Mama Joyce all dolled up for a photo shoot, while we'll be getting to see Ultimate Southern Belle Phaedra in action, as she's defending someone facing drug charges.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs tonight at 9:00 on Bravo. If you want to relive Nene's complicated love life, Sheree's quest for child support (and a storyline), or Cynthia's flubbed fashion show, be sure to check out what Mark had to say about last week's episode. Also, don't forget that we'll be getting two scoops of crazy this week, as The Real Housewives of Atlanta will be airing another new episode on Tuesday, December 13th at 9:00.
