Earlier today we posted spoilers for the first two episodes of The Secret Circle (read them here). This new CW series will be paired with The Vampire Diaries on Thursday nights and is set to premiere on September 15 at 9:00 p.m.
The CW has released new promotional photos of the cast members. They continue with the nature theme, which is big in the show and relates to the witchcraft that the characters use. One of my favorite characters in The Secret Circle is Charles Meade, played by the always awesome Gale Harold. Harold comes off as creepy and menacing in the title, while also being incredibly blasé about his strong witchcraft abilities. In other words, it's a treat to watch him scheme and threaten his way across your television screen. And, as usual, The Secret Circle has a ridiculously attractive cast. This is The CW, after all.
Fans of The Vampire Diaries should definitely check out this new show, since both shows are based on the book series by L.J. Smith and are both produced by Kevin Williamson. But even though they have similar pedigrees, don't necessarily expect cross-overs. While it may one day happen, each show is supposed to exist in a different universe.

I agree the cast is mostly amazing looking, especially the women. Phoebe Tonkin is gorgeous!
