The Vampire Diaries' Cast Sizzles In New Season 4 Photos
The fourth season of The Vampire Diaries has focused primarily on Elena's transformation into a vampire and her continued love triangle with the Salvatore brothers. While Stefan spent several early episodes trying to show Elena that becoming a vampire wasn't the end of the world (just, you know, her mortal life), Elena's unexpected sire bond with Damon attracted her to the elder Salvatore. Now, however, Damon has decided to focus on training Jeremy as a hunter and hopes that time away from Elena will convince her that they aren't meant to be.
Back in Mystic Falls, Klaus continues to wreak havoc in an attempt to find a vampirism cure. His most recent victim was Mayor Lockwood in response to Tyler's attempts to turn his hybrids against him. We can only imagine how Tyler will react to the news of his mother's death.
There are quite a few exciting things coming when the show returns from its winter hiatus this month, including the return of Rebekah, the appearance of Bonnie's father (played by Ricky Worthy) and Jeremy's continued hunter training. Elena's little brother is certainly growing into a very capable man.
