It seems to be the day for The Vampire Diaries photos. We just posted episode photos for the January 5 return episode (view them here) and now The CW has released photos for the January 12 episode, titled "Our Town".
I have some good and bad news for The Vampire Diaries fans: Caroline isn't in the upcoming January 5 episode, which is the bad news. But she will be featured in the January 12 episode, so that's the good news!
In "Our Town", Caroline's not exactly in the mood to celebrate her 18th birthday, but Bonnie, Matt and Elena decide to throw her a little surprise party in a very strange location (I’m pretty sure it’s a mausoleum, given the statues). Meanwhile, Damon and Stefan are still communicating, but that might not last very long, because the Salvatore brothers can’t agree on how to handle Klaus. Stefan has a theory of his own and decides to test it, but this leads to a lot of danger.
Elena shares some of Jeremy’s new plans with Bonnie, who is very surprised and concerned. Alaric will be attending a Founder’s meeting in this episode and he will once again run into Dr. Fell (played by Torrey Devitto, who first appears in the January 5 episode). When he encounters her this time, she’ll be arguing with her ex-boyfriend, the medical examiner. Tyler also struggles for control when he refuses to follow Klaus’ most recent command. But when Klaus accepts his decision, he wonders if it’s that simple.

Though I am a Damon and Elena fan, I want to start a petition against Ian for the way he's had his hair this season. Not that I'm at all serious, but it's starting to look more and more like a mullet. This looks a little shorter than the first half of the season but honestly, I need a less Kris Kardashian look and more of his badass hair-do he had going on in season 1…sorry, that was a bit of a rant. =)
