The big cliffhanger at the end of last week's episode of The Vampire Diaries was (SPOILER ALERT!) the return of Elijah. Klaus finally managed to find the coffins of his family members that Stefan had hidden. But Damon had two tricks up his sleeve: (1) he managed to hide the one coffin that Bonnie still couldn't figure out how to open, and (2) he undaggered Elijah.
How will Klaus react to his brother being alive once again? Maybe not very well, since, from the looks of this promo, Damon and Elijah might be cahoots. If they have an alliance, will it last? We don't know, but we're definitely anxious to see how the whole thing will play out. For more on last week's episode, read Emma's review.
Unfortuately, there will be no new episode of The Vampire Diaries this week, but the show will return on February 2 with an episode titled "Bringing Out the Dead". In the episode, we're warned that Damon "reaches out to an old acquaintance for help in setting up an elaborate plan", which we're thinking means he reaches out to Elijah. Bonnie's mother will also be appearing in this episode, as Stefan turns to Bonnie and Abby for help in figuring out a way to kill Klaus. Meanwhile, Klaus hosts the dinner party from hell and reveals a bit more about the Original family history.

oh my god Elijah is gorgeouse……..holy man I would love to see a love interest for him……like maybe Katherine but he is likely to want Elena because of her ethics and diplomacy very much like him self…..
What I would like to see is when all the originals appear in one room (the casted two other brothers are definite eye candy) The mommy witch certainly gave birth to some good looking children dam!!!!!
