At the end of last week's Vampire Diaries, Damon made a huge discovery, thanks to the ghost of Mason Lockwood: a old cave filled with mysterious drawings on the wall. Unfortunately, when he was prevented from entering the cave, he was forced to ask Alaric for help.
It looks like Alaric has started doing some research, as is evident from the sneak peek below for the November 3 episode of The Vampire Diaries. The history teacher brings Elena to view the cave and reveals that the drawings and markings on the wall are some ancient Viking text, and it just so happens that three of the names are very familiar to us: Niklaus, Elijah and Rebekah.
Get ready for a history lesson, folks. The November 3 episode will be taking us back many hundreds of years to the days when the Original Family lived among the common folk of their time. Not only will we be seeing Rebekah during the early Viking times, but we'll also see Klaus, Elijah and their mother.
