Still reeling from shock of the death of Vicki from Thursday night's episode of The Vampire Diaries?
Well get used to it, because according to Kevin Williamson, exec producer of the show, there is more death coming to Mystic Falls.
"Everyone's going to die on this show. This is a show where characters you love may die, and it'll be unexpected and shocking, so get ready for it. It's as simple as that. And Vicki was the first casualty."
:Gulp: Bonnie!
As for Vicki, she wasn't originally supposed to be staked by Stefan at first, but none other than the love sick puppy, Jeremy. Kayla Ewell (Vicki) explains why the producers decided to go with a different outcome.
"They chose to have Stefan kill me because it makes him more of a hero since he saves Elena. There was also the question of would Jeremy know to actually stake a vampire in the heart?"
Good point. But according to Williamson and Ewell, the death of Vicki was the catalyst for a "transformation" in Jeremy, which will be explored when Matt Davis arrives as the new history teacher, Alaric. Could we see some slayer training going down?
Stay tuned...

O.O
Better not be one of the three leads- especially since snot-faced Tyler got to live last week ;)

OMG, Pixie, who are you telling?!? LOL! I did read somewhere that nobody is safe if they aren’t Nina, Ian, or Paul, which makes me fear for Bonnie and Caroline. But death could mean vamping so… ;)

Well, Vicki IS meant to die but I just didn’t expect it so soon. Just glad we won’t get to see her switching between Jeremy and Tyler again and again. THAT was starting to get really boring.
I didn’t find her reaction to being changed into a vampire, realistic. I mean, after her transition, she did remember everything she went through, how she’d been fed on and everything. So, then soon after she’s changed into a vampire, she has absolutely NO qualms about feeding on humans blood herself? (in Haunted episode) That’s strange and well, not very realistic in my opinion.
And nah, Bonnie can’t die too.

Elena killed Vicki while she tried to feed of her, didn’t she?
Yeah, Vicki bit Elena but it was Stefan who drove the stake through her.
