If you've been reading The Vampire Diaries tie-in novels called "Stefan's Diaries", then you'll know from the second volume that Stefan was kind of a bad vampire when he was first turned. In fact, there was a role reversal between the brothers: Damon was the broody one and Stefan was the wild one. The question is how much of that will actually find its way onto the show.
It looks like at least part of it might be revealed on the February 17 new episode of The Vampire Diaries. At lease the spirit of the novel. In the episode, Stefan opts to tell Elena about some of his dark days as a vampire, and the woman that prompted his change to the Stefan we know now.
Meanwhile, Damon will be up to his old tricks. In an attempt to catch Elijah off guard, Damon will set up a dinner party and invite Elijah, Jenna, Alaric and Andie (guest star Dawn Olivieri). Unfortunately, some last minute information will cause the dinner party plans to go haywire.
