Well, well, well. Lookie what we have here. Last week's amazing episode of The Vampire Diaries brought us a surprise ending: while Klaus fled town to avoid the newly resurrected vampire hunter, Stefan announced that he was moving back into the Salvatore home.
But, of course, Stefan's not really the brooding vampire we used to know. Understandably, both Damon and Elena are suspicious of his motives and unsure if he's safe to have around (hint: he's probably not).
The big question, though, is what happens to Stefan and Elena's relationship now that her wayward boyfriend has returned to Mystic Falls. Photos from the October 20 episode of The Vampire Diaries show the two in an embrace. Are we headed back to romanceville for the duo? Maybe not. The trailer for this week's episode (view it here) shows Elena is very worried about Stefan running loose through town.
Of course, Stefan's return is but the tip of the iceberg in terms of new developments. After all, Tyler is now a vampire-werewolf hybrid and is definitely acting weird. Plus, the kids are all returning to school for their senior year.
