The Vampire Diaries Promo: "The Last Day"

Wow. Just....wow. What a crazy night of revelations we just had on The Vampire Diaries. The sun and moon curse is not real. Elijah and Klaus are actually brothers. Klaus is both a werewolf and a vampire. The curse that Klaus is trying to is specific to him and would allow him to activate the werewolf part of him, allowing him to essentially create a new hybrid species. The only thing that can kill Klaus is a witch. Jenna now knows the truth about the creatures in Mystic Falls and Klaus is finally back in his real body.

In the next new episode of The Vampire Diaries, airing on April 28, the entire business with the curse comes to a head. Entitled "The Last Day", the episode takes place on the day of the full moon. While Damon is desperate to do anything to save Elena, his actions pit brother against brother even more. The two of them come to blows about how best to ensure Elena survives.

Tyler fans can also be happy, because our favorite resident werewolf returns to Mystic Falls on April 28 after receiving a phone call with some disturbing information.

Elena and Stefan elect to spend what would be Elena's last day together before the full moon takes place that night.
