The Voice Semifinalists Perform Live Tonight
After last week’s not so surprising eliminations of Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown, The Voice is down to only four remaining contestants. Team Adam, having lost both of its remaining members last week, joins Team Christina on the sidelines with no contenders left in the competition.
Still left in the game are Terry McDermott and Cassadee Pope from Team Blake and Trevin Hunte and Nicholas David from Team Cee Lo. While all stand a chance at taking home the win, it seems that Terry McDermott and Trevin Hunte may be the front runners. Cassadee has recently begun gaining momentum, however, and has wowed both the coaches and audience for the last several weeks, making her a possible dark horse in the competition. Nicholas, on the other hand, is a big question mark because while his performances tend to be spot on and his talent is undeniable, he doesn’t offer up the powerhouse songs or rocker performances like Trevin and Terry, therefore, making him a bit more of a quiet threat, rather than an obvious contender for a win.
Tonight on The Voice, the final four contestants get their last shot to perform live and, with any luck, sing their way into next week’s finals.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
