Kelly Clarkson and Bruno Mars Performing On X-Factor Wednesday Night

In order to avoid having The X-Factor results show on Thanksgiving night, FOX is pushing the Top 9 performance up to Tuesday night, and welcoming special guests Kelly Clarkson and Bruno Mars onto their Wednesday night show on November 23rd.

Last week’s show was pretty intense, with 60-year-old contestant LeRoy Bell singing “We’ve Got Tonight” by Bob Seger, and getting trashed by Simon Cowell and Antonio “L.A.” Reid. Most of the guest star performs on the show, including last week’s Rihanna and now Kelly Clarkson and Bruno Mars, are all fairly young. Bell has got his work cut out for him with Nicole Scherzinger saying she thinks it’s a “possibility” Bell could win the competition and Cowell saying it would never happen. Reid called Bell “Boring,” spelling out each letter, “B-O-R-I-N-G” for emphasis.

On the other end of the age spectrum, 13-year-old Rachel Crow brought down the house with her cover of “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.” Bruno Mars, who will be performing the Breaking  Dawn – Part Isoundtrack single ‘It Will Rain’ Wednesday night, knows a thing of two about being a young performer, having been a 4-year-old Elvis impersonator and both real life and in the movie “Honeymoon in Vegas.”

Kelly Clarkson has been having a great 2011 with her recent album “Stronger” selling quite well and its first single, “Mr. Know It All” becoming a radio hit.

Clarkson will be on-hand to witness a double-elimination, leaving only seven contestants in the competition. Who will be getting the boot? Will Astro’s bad attitude catch up with him or will Simon and L.A.’s constant criticism of LeRoy Bell finally be the end of his time on The X-Factor? Tune in Wednesday night to find out.

As for Thanksgiving night, there will be no X-Factor but Fox is debuting the television premiere of "Happiness Is A Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown,” a new Peanuts special that was co-written by Charles Schulz’s son, Craig Schulz.
