True Blood

These vampires can't be stopped.  HBO's True Blood has posted another record high, luring over 5.3 million viewers into its vamp den over the weekend.  It's a trend that is sort of unheard of, True Blood's second season is winding to a close and the ratings continue to climb, climb, climb.  Great stuff.  At this point, two episodes remain before True Blood wraps things up and with guest star Rachel Evan Wood debuting next week along with the ultra hyped Sookie vs Mary Ann Armageddon about to play out I wouldn't be surprised at all if True Blood breaks through this plateau with ease.  For those looking for a little bit of True Blood spoilage, here are the teasers for the last two episodes of season 2.

True Blood 2.11 - Frenzy

With the crisis in Bon Temps careening out of control, Bill seeks out the advice of the Vampire Queen of Louisiana, Sophie-Anne, but must exercise patience before she gives him critical information. Meanwhile, Sookie and Lafayette find that protecting Tara from herself is more difficult than they anticipated; a desperate Sam turns to an unlikely source for assistance; and Hoyt's allegiance to Maxine is put to the test by Jessica.

True Blood 2.12 - Beyond Here Lies Nuthin

Bon Temps reaches a fever pitch as Maryann prepares for her ultimate bestial sacrifice, conscripting Sookie to be Maid of Honor at the bloody nuptials. Meanwhile, Sophie-Anne warns Eric to keep the lid on Bill’s inquisitiveness; Jason leads Andy into the heroic abyss; and Hoyt struggles with Maxine’s endless stream of insults. Deliberating on what may be his final move to save Sookie and the town, Sam places his trust, and his life, in a most unlikely ally.
