True Blood's third season (much like the rest of the series) was nothing if not uneven. Some of its best moments, however, came from the vampire king Russell Edgington, played masterfully by Denis O'Hare. Edgington was the season's overarching villain, and was dispatched in the season three finale when Eric Northman and Bill Compton teamed up to bury Russell in a construction site full of concrete. As far as we know, he's still there. But when will he make his return?
Talking to Film School Rejects, actor O'Hare dished a bit about when Russell would be making his return to the HBO vampire drama.

"It was up in the air," he said. "They were definitely bringing me back, it was just a matter of if they wanted to bring me back the last couple episodes or bring me back at the beginning."
And what was the verdict? "They decided to do it at the beginning of season 5."

Sorry Russell fans! With the divisive first episode of the fourth season making a few critics uncertain about the show's direction, it would have been nice to have something to look forward to later on in the summer.
