youtubeAccording to Reuters, YouTube which was bought in the not so distant past by Google, has just signed a contract with various Hollywood studios.

Hollywood has previously attacked websites like YouTube and other streaming sites for hosting film and television content, now it seems they have come to some form of understanding.

According to reports the studios that have signed include Sony Pictures, CBS, MGM, Lionsgate, Starz, and the BBC. Apparently Google are hoping for big ad revenue from this move.

Google have only said they are announcing an improved film page and place for television shows. They did not provide any further details.
