Kate needs to go away … far … far … away. I am so over her fake pity party. She has no friends or family, which speaks volumes.

Stop picking on Jon, Kate. The poor guy put up with your nasty attitude long enough. Let the guy enjoy life now that he is away from your controlling freak show. Get over it! He is allowed to date. You can't control him anymore. By him dating or partying does not make him a creep. He was just released from "prison". He is going to need to blow off some pent up steam. Leave him alone and get on with your miserable life.

There are a lot of really great men who would love to see if they'd be a good match for Kate. Intelligent men can figure out how to handle and treat a strong woman to bring out the best in her – and I'm sure Kate will eventually be looking for a good man. Kate's earning potential sweetens the deal by miles and I could see her settling back down with a single dad. Even more kids in the house – yikes!

It will be a sad day for Jon when he is on the outside watching another man involved in the lives of his children – particularly if that man successfully brings harmony into the home.

Jon needs to get a job and support his 8 kids and quit living off of their money and he better enjoy his girlfriends while he can because when the money is gone they will be too…I think he is a scumbag and he can forget about another tv show..Nobody wants to see him anyway. He is just about the most childish thing I have ever seen…It is embarrassing that he thinks he is such a ladies man…Give me a break…The kids are better off without him….so is Kate..Maybe she can find herself a real man for a change…..

I love this comment and I agree. I think that Kate obviously did push him around, but maybe she knew the way he really was long before the rest of us did. Maybe he is "free" from her now, but there's a difference between enjoying his post-marriage freedom and living it up the way he has. She may very well be a diva and a b*tch, but at least she's taking care of the kids while he gets photographed with questionable people and partying in Vegas.

It was tough watching Kate push Jon around. No one wants to see that. We all assumed he was just this nice guy trying to get through the day and it was fun to point at her and joke about how overbearing she was. However, when a man with a house full of young children is an idler he needs to be pushed. Things have to get done and they have to be done fairly well to keep it all running smoothly. The one good thing that Jon has done through his self-destructive behavior has been to show the world why Kate HAD to take on the role as field marshal in that family. Jon is a loafer who resented having to take on the role of an adult and so he acted like a child which required or allowed (whichever you prefer) to be increasingly controlling as the family grew. Kate would likely have not been controlling and annoyed at Jon to the nth degree if he'd been reliable and taken the reigns and his share of the responsibilities. Surely she would have been relieved to have a man to show up on a regular basis and take charge.

I predict that Jon is going to have to embrace the stink he has been showering in lately if he wants to stay in the entertainment industry. He'll earn his paycheck being the adult industry hero for the over 30 men who need validation that although they too are lazy, irresponsible, unattractive, pudgy and slow-witted all the hottest babes really DO want to hook up with them. Hey it might be the dark side but its a living – that's what he'll have to tell himself anyway.

I'll agree that post breakup, Jon has been rather childish, but then again, he's put up with her for how long? He's got to make up for SOME of her crap here.

I'll say this: when you have a family with multiple children, and one parent that is driving the 'parent efficiency,' you are going to see that parent treating the other like an additional child. In the case of Jon and Kate you have extreme family dimensions, and – on Kate's behalf – a touch of narcissism to boot.

However, Jon's actions post-breakup speak volumes about the type of person he is. Try it from her perspective. She has always treated him like he was irresponsible and childish, without being really blatant about it. Now we see she was right. BUT, think about this… here's Kate, with 8 children to take care of – and an immature, childish, ego-maniacal twit for a husband. Would you be graceful in her shoes? I'd say they both had it rough.
