Carson Kressley Predicts Dancing with the Stars Season 13 Finalists

JR Martinez and Carson Kressley Dancing with the StarsOusted Dancing with the Stars Season 13 contestant Carson Kressley gives a hilarious interview with Good Morning America, predicting who makes it to this season’s finals, and also threatens to sue prosecutor and celebrity contestant Nancy Grace.  With his usual verbal panache, Carson dishes on all the remaining contestants and discusses how JR Martinez, with his two perfect scores in Week 8, has taken over the lead and cemented his place as a finalist. He also gives props to JR’s pro partner Karina Smirnoff.

Carson humorously threatens to sue Nancy for having stolen her cartwheel from his jive and says he saw her underwear a bit too much for his liking last night. He agrees with Len Goodman’s comment last night “Like Cinderella, it’s midnight and time to go home.”   Carson also pokes fun at Hope Solo's fringe pants, and I have to agree with him. The fringe pants typically work better in a cha cha. The jive is all about kicks, so people want to see the leg action. Check out the video of his interview below.

Karina is not only an exquisite dancer, but every bit the amazing choreographer that Derek Hough is. The DWTS mirror ball trophy is definitely in reach for JR and Karina, unless Derek and Ricki Lake can pull some rabbits out of their hats from here on in.  It’s definitely time for someone other than Derek to win and with a partner like JR, Karina has earned it. But, Derek has a huge following, so it’s going to take all the votes possible to get JR and Karina that trophy.

I am one of those people who love Derek Hough, but my votes are going to the better celebrity dancer this season – JR. I think most people who love Derek are fans because they love dancing. A treat for me this year is that I think Karina is the best female pro dancer and choreographer. I've been waiting for this matchup for years.

JR has been the wonderful surprise of this season's DWTS and will undoubtedly win the silver trophy. Nevertheless, I'm still voting for Derek Hough (a true movie or Broadway star waiting to happen) and Ricki Lake. JR's dancing is all flash and dazzle but curiously deficient in true emotion. The judges have switched their appreciation of Derek to fan-like adulation of JR. Derek and Ricki's gossamer waltz was the highlight of the evening, yet the judges knocked it and made poor Ms. Lake feel as if she had failed. Derek is a superb choreographer, a superb dancer, a superb teacher, and that rare thing these days–a true gentleman. He is much too good to be wasting his talents by slumming on DWTS.

I'm voting for JR. He has shown the most variety and the highest degree of difficulty in his routines. He is the best at connecting with the audience and having chemistry with his partner. JR has shown great depth of emotion…..note his rendition of the Fallen Hero Waltz as one. Also he shows great joy as in the Samba, and Jive.

IMO Ricki's dances all look the same and she holds her head very rigidly in every dance seeming like a robot. Her routines have been all about 90% in hold with Derek wisking her around so she doesn't have to initiate moves on her own or think. Derek is doing it all and Ricki looks mechanical.
