Two bits of casting news were announced today. First, Once Upon a Time is recruiting another former LOST star for a guest role. We know that Alan Dale (who played Charles Widmore in LOST) will be appearing as Prince Charming's father in episode 6. Today TV Guide announced that Emilie de Ravin, who played Claire Liddleton on LOST, will be appearing as Belle in an early 2012 episode of Once Upon a Time.
We'll be seeing Belle in the fairytale world and while details aren't really knnown as this time, we do know that she'll be interacting with Rumplestiltskin and the character of Gaston will also appear. Considering Once Upon a Time (recently picked up for a full season by ABC), is run by former LOST writers, I wouldn't be surprised to see more actors from LOST show up in guest roles. A new episode of Once Upon a Time will be airing on November 13. For spoilers on the recently awakened John Doe and his relationship with Mary Margaret, click here.
The other piece of casting news comes out of TNT. Vulture reports that 24 star Carlos Bernard will be appearing on their reboot of Dallas, which will premiere next summer. Bernard will play a recurring Venezuelan businessman who will be trying to close a deal with J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman). For more on the Dallas reboot, read our recent interview with Brenda Strong.
