CBS announced today that Omar Miller, who most of you know from the Transformers movie, has joined the cast of CSI: Miami as a series regular. His character will be new to Horatio's (DAvid Caruso) group after transferring in, and will have specialties in art theft. His character's name will be Walter Simmons.
Miller was also seen on five episodes of Eleventh Hour last season playing the role of Felix Lee. His first episode of CSI: Miami will air on October 5, which was previously announced. However, Miller had been listed as a guest star on the series, with the network only recently picking up his series regular option. The episode, titled "Bolt Action" will also guest star Cheryl Ladd and Tia Carrere. The episode synopsis is listed below.
