Filming has been delayed for the CW's new series The Beautiful Life. Filming for the series, scheduled to begin on July 22, has been delayed by a week. According to the studio, filming has been delayed because of "unfinished sets," reports the L.A. Times, and not because of the recent meltdown of lead actress Mischa Barton.
Barton, most famous for playing Marissa Cooper on The O.C., is slated to play the main character of Beautiful Life, as a supermodel. The role is considered to be her T.V. comeback role. However, Barton was hospitalized under an involuntary psychiatric hold by the L.A.P.D.
The studios insist, however, that this is not the reason for the delay in filming -- but do they really expect us to believe that?
