No sooner has David Tennant left Doctor Who behind than we are already getting a sneak preview about our Stephen Moffat-Matt Smith driven future. Yes, the BBC this evening released our first trailer of the newest season of Doctor Who, due on air in the UK this Spring.
The trailer gives us plenty of information about the future of the series, including the Doctor's new look TARDIS exterior, his new look costume as well as what seems to be some slight visual changes with the show with the show itself seemingly using colder palettes, replacing the orange hues of the show with bluer, cooler colors, seemingly mimicing the change in logo.
Some of the treats you get to see include the return of the Weeping Angels and River Song, as well as lots of views of his new assistant Amy Pond and the return of the Doctor punching people! A sight we haven't seen since the rock-em-sock-em years stranded on Earth with Jon Pertwee's Third Doctor. An influence on the character I think we'll get to see more of.
Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know what you think. Personally? It excites me, greatly.
