Via Dark UFO: This weeks TV Guide has an interview with Heroes' Greg Grunberg, discussing an eery relationship between his character and Sylar in the new season. Yet he also throws out a little spoiler about the upcoming final season of LOST.
Apparently, he was also approached by the producers of LOST to return for the final season!
According to the article:
It might be a busy season for Grunberg, who has also been approached about appearing on Lost. The actor, who played pilot Seth Norris of Oceanic flight 815 in the very first episode, got a call about coming back for the last season of the hit ABC show. Grunberg is totally game for anything the Lost producers can cook up for him, but he has no idea what they are planning. “That’s literally where my call ended,” he says.
Norris didn’t survive the island, but as more of Lost’s characters who met the grim reaper are signing on to appear one last time, it would only be appropriate to bring back the man who flew them to the island in the first place. “If NBC will allow it,” Grunberg says. “I will go back.”
I'm beginning to become wary of all of these announcements of former characters coming back. I'm not saying they aren't, but the slew of rumors, announcements and other little bits of information disbursed over the summer months this year seems to be a little too geared towards confirming the "reset" theories discussed on every forum out there, including our own.
What other avenues could the show take in it's final season? Naturally, if the "reset" theories come to pass, everyone who was on Oceanic Flight 815 would still be alive, in one form or another, including the pilot.
But what if the Jughead explosion didn't "reset" the time line? Bear with me here...but what if the Jughead explosion created an "alternate" time line? In either case, we're in for a huge surprise in January when LOST finally does return.
Its going to be a reset, and then because of something Jacob or "Esau" or dark-Locke does, the reset is going to slingshot everyone back to the island somehow. The reset will only last for MAYBE the first 2 or 3 episodes, by my best guess. I really believe this is what has to happen.

Probably a typo but I think you meant Oceanic Flight 815, not 415.nbsp; I just couldn't let it go.
Yup. That was an oops moment. :)
