If you've never watched an episode of Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, starring Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, consider yourself one of the lucky and fortunate. I'm not sure anyone has ever watched this show intentionally, yet even passing by the channel when its airing will hook you faster than mainlining crank. Still, this show is the Oxygen Networks bread and butter, and NBC Universal (who owns the cable channel) is all but handing the network over to them.
At their upfront presentations last week, a new pilot was greenlit called "Mr. and Mrs. Makeover," a couples makeover show that will be feature Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott as its hosts. In addition, the two reality stars are set to appear in a romantic comedy telepic for the network as well, making one wonder if they're striving for Oxygen Network Domination.
However, in happier news, Oxygen also announced a new series called "The Naughty Kitchen With Chef Blythe Beck," as well as "Addicted to Beauty," a docu-comedy (Office ripoff) set in the world of Medical/Beauty spas.
