If you took something that was obnoxious, indecent, misguided, stupid, and just plain wrong, and twisted it up in a way that made it hilariously funny and inappropriate at the same time you'd pretty much have the genius that is It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. The great news is that the gang will be back with new episodes starting September 17 on FX. This season promises to be as funny as they always are, if not funnier, and the cast promises to give us plenty of recession jokes, crude merchandise (a dick towel anyone?), and new ways for Dee to make money by having people jam stuff inside her womb...um, we're talking about her becoming a surrogate mother, of course (what did you think we meant, pervert!).
My favorite line is when Rob McElhenney says, "What we're trying to do is not push the limits just for the sake of pushing the limits, but just to do something that isn't being done anywhere else on television." Well, Always Sunny certainly get's an A+ for doing just that season after season. After all, if comedy doesn't sometimes make you feel awkward and dirty then you're really just not enjoying comedy to it's fullest.
Check out the two videos below to get all the scoop on the new season straight from the actors themselves. Just beware, there is some slightly NSFW language and material in these vids, so you might want to wait til you get home to check them out, depending on how uptight your bosses are.
