Kate Hudson Plays Jimmy Fallon in Box of Lies on The Tonight Show

Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson came on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night and played one of my personal favorite Tonight Show games: Box of Lies. Funny thing about Kate Hudson, however (and don’t worry, I won’t say if she won or not), is that she never lied during the whole game. Instead, she only told the truth, which was actually incredibly endearing to watch.

Although I’m not sure how close they are today, Kate Hudson and Jimmy Fallon certainly appeared to be having a great time when she was on The Tonight Show last night,  seeming like old friends. The two of them did both star in one of my favorite films of all time, Cameron Crowe’s Almost Famous, which came out back in 2000. (And if you haven’t seen Almost Famous yet for some reason, please drop everything you’re doing and go watch it right now. I promise you it’s worth it.)

Hudson was on The Tonight Show to promote her new film Wish I Was Here, which stars her, along with Zach Braff (who wrote and directed the film as well, after starting a campaign on Kickstarter to help fund it), Homeland‘s Mandy Patinkin, and Mandy Patinkin’s beard. (For the record, I don’t think Mandy Patinkin’s beard actually gets credited for its own role in the film, but it should. Many Patinkin’s beard is always the star of whatever show, film, or musical it’s in.)

Check out both videos below (there are two parts) to see how Kate Hudson fared against Jimmy Fallon in Box of Lies.
