Set to join True Blood as Holly Cleary this Sunday, details as to the character she'll play have been shrouded in secrecy, until now. In an interview with Fancast, Bowles, perhaps most famous for her roles in shows such as Seinfeld and Arrested Development, had this to say on her upcoming role:

"What I can tell you, because it's shrouded in secrecy on this show, [is that] I am the new waitress at Merlotte's - a single working mum. I might have some interesting abilities that will develop as the show goes on."

She also added her delight at working on True Blood, saying:

"When I am sitting in that Merlotte's set I literally look around and I truly can't believe I'm here. Usually I'm focused on the scene but I do have those out of body moments where all of a sudden I'm like, 'Wait. I'm wearing Merlotte's shorts, standing at the bar. What the hell is going on?'"
