A Look at The Legend of Korra: Book Three

I’m still trying to figure out if this is an official new trailer for The Legend of Korra: Book Three on Nickelodeon, or if it’s a fan made production using leaked footage of the upcoming episodes. Even if that is the case, it’s so well-edited I don’t think it actually matters, and if it isn’t official, Nickelodeon should slap their logo on it and claim it as such anyway.

Regardless, it’s full of a ton of unseen footage from the upcoming third book, one that seems to be focused on the Earth Kingdom, and feature characters like Zuko and references to past villains like Combustion Man. It looks rather incredible, and seems to be more about bender vs. bender battling, as opposed to the crazy spirit-based plotlines of season two, which really seemed outside the norm for the show. Hopefully the season is a return to form, and it’s more like the first season.

I think generally Korra isn’t as good as The Last Airbender, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good period. It’s still one of the best animated shows on TV whenever it airs, and I am absolutely looking forward to book three, whenever it does decide to debut. From the looks of it, it’s pretty much done, so hopefully it won’t be all the much longer.

Check out the probably-not-official trailer below:
