January Jones
January Jones will be making a big mark this summer in the blockbuster X-Men: First Class as Emma Frost. This is sure to be a hit when it is released on the 3rd of June and will see Jones return to the time period that we are most used to seeing her in, as this prequel explores the X-Men characters in the 1960s. Directed by Matthew Vaughn who recently tackled superheroes of a different kind in Kick-Ass this looks set to be a good addition to the already bulging X-Men canon. However if superhero movies aren't really your thing then like Hendricks, January Jones is the face of a big fashion campaign, appearing pretty much naked for the Versace Spring/Summer collection which features in pretty much every glossy monthly magazine at the moment (see photo).
John Slattery
At the recent premiere for The Adjustment Bureau, John Slattery was quoted as saying "I'm looking for a job" and that he had been writing a screenplay, whilst we wait for the fruits of that labour you can still catch Slattery in the sci-fi, romantic thriller The Adjustment Bureau in which he plays an Observer like agent. What I'm going to do is watch Slattery in The Station Agent, a film by Thomas McCarthy who's most recent film Win Win has received great reviews scoring an impressive 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Other than that you can try and catch some old re-runs of Ed or Desperate Housewives or hope that he pops again on 30 Rock as the not so terrific politician Steve Austin.
Vincent Kartheiser
Kartheiser is often portrayed as the most quirky of the cast members in interviews (talking points that are often repeated are his lack of car and that fact that at one time he didn't have a toilet in his house), so it is not surprising to see that he will be starring in the rather quirky sounding sci-fi thriller Now which will be released in October. The premise of the film is that there is new genetic science that can stop the ageing process, in fact you stop ageing at 25 but if you do not have the finances you will die by the age of 26, in it Kartheiser will be playing Amanda Seyfried's father (who is in fact only 6 years younger). The films cast reads like a who's hot and upcoming in Hollywood; Justin Timberlake, Olivia Wilde, Alex Pettyfer, Cillian Murphy and Matt Bomer which might aid it to box office glory (and will probably score it a spread in a magazine such as Nylon).
Will you be catching any of the above to help with those summer Mad Men withdrawals? If none of that takes your fancy then there is always the Mad Men DVDs/Blu-Rays, tie in books and countless discussions of the show online to get you through this very extended hiatus.

There's also Rich Sommer (Harry Crane) in the last two episodes of this season's Nikita, as was reported right here, I think.
And Cara Buono (Dr Faye Miller) has popped up on Brothers & Sisters as Tommy's girlfriend, Rose.
