If you'd already given up on seeing new episodes of My Name Is Earl on television ever again, you might want to rethink. News broke today that TBS is in early negotiations with 20th Century Fox to bring up to 13 new episodes of Earl to the TBS lineup. NBC canceled the fourth season comedy last month and rumors had been bouncing around that Fox might pick up the sitcom, but it would have had to find a spot for the series at the midseason mark. There's still no guarantee that TBS will pick up Earl, however the station already airs reruns of the series, and new episodes would fit in nicely with their evening slate of original comedies which include My Boys, 10 Items or Less, The Bill Engvall Show, and Meet the Browns. TBS and 20th Century Fox had no comment about the negotiations.
