NBC Offers People-Powered Revolution Sneak Preview

NBC is taking Revolution on tour.  The J.J. Abrams, Jon Favreau and Eric Kripke co-created post apocalyptic series debuts on the Peacock next month, but fans who can’t wait will get a chance to catch the pilot on the big screen.   One of these shows, in New York, will tap into the shows themes in a big way.  Revolution is set in the future where an unidentified event causes all electrical current to cease flowing, leaving the world in darkness.  On that note, here is what NBC has planned:

At the New York event (September 4 at 7:30pm at Hudson River Park’s Pier 57), all power will be manually generated by 80 power pedalers, including series star Tim Guinee (“Iron Man”). Prior to the event, members of the public are invited to join the “power pedaler” team on-site to help power up the screening. Guests are encouraged to bike or walk to the screening and bike valet will be provided.
