ABC has just released a batch of photos from its upcoming Dirty Dancing remake, offering a first look at Abigail Breslin (Scream Queens) and Colt Prattes as the film’s iconic couple, Frances (aka Baby) and Johnny. Well that about does it. That’s all I have to say about that. I have no desire to see this. This movie is a travesty to Jennifer Grey and to Patrick Swayze. What the hell people? I’m telling you right now there needs to be a remake set of rules that are strictly followed. One of them should DEFINITELY be if you ever, EVER think of remaking something that starred Patrick Swayze don’t you dare turn it into a made for TV movie. Are you friggin’ kidding me? I’m too angry right now.
There’s one positive and one positive only about this movie. Katy Segal plays that cougar lady. That’s the ONLY thing I care about. But even that’s annoying because that means Katy Segal actually signed on to do this film which is really aggravating. You’re Peggy Bundy for Christ’s sake! So yeah, I’m not exactly happy about this remake. Ladies, have at it with the pictures. But yeah, I’ll be boycotting this film.
