I know as an adult, I am not supposed to like cartoons, but too bad. There is so much crazy stuff on TV, sometimes it is nice to break away from that. Thankfully, there are (and were) certain cartoons that seemed cater to adults as much as children. Powerpuff Girls was one of those shows. Great for kids, but just twisted enough for parents and adults to enjoy, too. Well, good news for other fans of this super-stylized cartoon. I am not the only one counting down the seconds until The Powerpuff Girls reunite, right? Well, it looks like it’s gonna happen.
Huffington Post broke the story, but seems the girls are getting together to fight crime for a one-night-only special. While it does make me sad it is only one night, beggars can’t be choosers, right? Even if the Powerpuff Girls reunite for only one night, one night is better than none. Also, the episode is called Dance Pansted. That sounds just crazy enough to be awesome. On top of that, Ringo Starr from The Beatles will be playing a character on the show and singing an original song for the special, so this is win/win for all involved.
The episode is set to air on January 20th at 7:30 on the Cartoon Network.
