Predicting the Next Breakout Stars from TV to Film

Aaron-Paul-Emmy

Many of our best actors in Hollywood today got their starts on the small screen. That makes you wonder which TV stars today will be the next big thing in Hollywood tomorrow.

I had a hunch about a few actors and I thought I’d share my picks with you. I think big things are going to happen to these guys soon, and you can feel the rumblings of an earthquake right before their movie career will take off.

Check out the list below and see if you agree.

Idris Elba

Idris-Elba

Elba first made waves as suit-wearing drug czar Stringer Bell on The Wire, HBO’s immortal drama. Since then, he’s been absolutely phenomenal as Luther in the UK show of the same name as a tortured anti-hero cop. In the film world, he’s starting to make inroads with big names including Ridley Scott, who gave him a supporting role in Prometheus, and now Guillermo del Toro has cast him as the lead in monster mash movie Pacific Rim. He’s even rumored to have been considered as the next James Bond. Badassery knows no race or color.
