I love The Vampire Diaries so much. It's not the best show on TV, but I'm so into it it's not even funny. As long as they keep showing me the hot vampire abs, we're gonna be fine. In the meantime, it only took about five episodes for Elena to realize that her would-be boyfriend is not what he seems, and unlike Bella Swan, she's a bit freaked out by this fact. Next Thursday's episode is all new and we've got the promo, promo photos and a sneak peak for you below.
In next week's episode we learn more about the Salvatore brothers' history. When I first saw the photos below I thought that the town was having some sort of dress-up party, but no! We're going to flashback to Stefan and Damon as humans, back in the ol' 1800s. And, since Elena just happens to look exactly like Katherine (I still can't wrap my head around that....what are the odds?), Nina Dobrev will play the beautiful/selfish girl who pitted the brothers against each other.
IN A FLASHBACK SEQUENCE, STEFAN REVEALS THE SALVATORE FAMILY HISTORY TO ELENA
Elena (Nina Dobrev) demands that Stefan (Paul Wesley) explain the frightening events that have been happening in Mystic Falls. In flashbacks, Stefan explains how his rivalry with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) began. Back in the present, Damon impulsively takes control of Vicki’s (Kayla Ewell) future, and a confused and frightened Vicki runs away. Finally, Sheriff Forbes (guest star Marguerite MacIntyre) and Mayor Lockwood (guest star Rob Pralgo) take steps to protect the town. Steven R. McQueen and Zach Roerig also star.
