Real Housewives: Camille Grammer Quits RHOBH

Color me shocked.

MSNBC has just reported that Camille Grammer, the most infamous Real Housewife since Danielle Staub (for the moment), has decided to not return to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills if it is picked up for a second season (as if it won't).

The decision isn't too much of a surprise really given the flak Camille's been getting all season due to her feud with fellow BH Housewife Kyle Richards, which has been the basis of the highest rated episodes all season. The most recent blowout between the two came in the episode titled "The Dinner Party From Hell", which consisted of Camille and her friend, medium Allison DuBois, having a shouting match with Kyle and Kyle's friend, Faye Resnick while the other Housewives watched in fear and the audience looked on in absolute horror. The episode is still one of the most talked about events in Housewives history and DuBois, who the show Medium is based on, has gotten a massive back slap from the media and fans of the show, but blames editing on her horrible behavior.

MSNBC cites some of the reason Grammer is quitting the show could be contributed to her relationships with DuBois and Nick Stabile (who is married) as well as her parenting skills (she has four nannies). While all these reasons are valid, there is still the notion that Camille probably simply didn't want to do it again. Besides, it wasn't her idea to do the show in the first place. It was her now ex-husband Kelsey Grammer's brainchild, which Camille has went on record to say she thinks it was his way to distract her from his infidelity, so maybe RHOBH is salt in a severely open wound? Who knows...

One thing I do want to know is if someone from NBC Universal caught wind of this story during yesterday's taping of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion Show and 'accidently' leaked it.

Thoughts?
