I did not realized until I looked at the list compiled in one place like this, how much not having him around is going to change the feel of the show. With the exception of the pilot, Kim Manners was the “go to” director for the season premieres and the season finales.
He directorial style is easy to pick out in Supernatural. I like to call it, “Thank you for all the close-ups of the pretty, pretty boys, Mr. Manners.” That and, “Mr. Manners, you always bring out the best in Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki.” Please, just Jensen in “All Hell Breaks Loose, part 2″, and Jared in “Heart” say it all.
Kim Manners fingerprints are all over Supernatural, and I, for one, am going to really miss not seeing them anymore. Thank you so much for all you left us with, Mr. Manners.

Amazing list. Thank you.
Amazing list. Thank you.
You are very welcome. Compiling this list was difficult. It is far too short.
I wish there had been no reason to compile this list in the first place, obviously. Just looking at it illustrates how critical Kim Manners was and always will be to Supernatural. The echo of his death has yet to quiet from the Supernatural and The X-Files families, and I doubt it ever will.

Will there be a tribute episode to Kim in Season 5, if so will you get a Director with a similar style as Kim to direct it?
Cheers Supercharmed
