Earlier this week The CW released their fall premiere dates and schedule for the upcoming 2009 season. There was only one small surprise where the net swapped timeslots for One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl, giving One Tree Hill the earlier, 8/7 central timeslot. The CW will kick off its fall season earlier than any of the other nets, beginning on Tuesday September 8 with a very retro feeling 90210 at 8/7 central and followed by the premiere of Melrose Place at 9/8 central. However, rounding out their fall premieres, Smallville doesn't get started until Friday, September 25, which really sucks some major meteorite fragments.
