It could work. It could work really well. And, trying not to spoiler more, the setting (should they follow the movie) would be a nice change from mainstream Hollywood. But please, Powers That Be, take a page from the "Stargate: Universe" critiques. The film did a great job with minorities in major roles. Women, however, are more than wives, girlfriends, and daughters. We can be scientists, soldiers, engineers, doctors and teachers; and we can be strong without being bitchy. I saw the movie and was entertained for 2.5 hours.

It could work. It could work really well. And, trying not to spoiler more, the setting (should they follow the movie) would be a nice change from mainstream Hollywood.

But please, Powers That Be, take a page from the "Stargate: Universe" critiques. The film did a great job with minorities in major roles.
