The Secret Ending of the Attack of the Show Finale Pays Tribute to TechTV

As G4 slowly dies, its shows are dying along with it, and we've now officially seen the end of Attack of the Show. It was a sad finale for fans, but one with a bonus easter egg at the very end.

After the gang said goodbye, there was a flash to two famed TechTV hosts, Leo Laporte and Patrick Norton. G4 used to be TechTV, back when it actually focused on tech, and the two banter about what a terrible dream converting into G4 had been. It surely had to be a dream, right?

It acts as simultaneously a nice tribute to the TechTV guys and also sort of a middle finger to the execs who tried to turn AOTS into a "pop culture nightmare."

I really wish that TechTV did have a skyscraper somewhere. We need more of that, and less of whatever G4 is about to become.
