HBO is a master of the miniseries, and now they’re coming out with a new one this February. Parade’s End is rather short as far as miniseries go, and will be only clocking in at five episodes. But there’s a lot you can put into the equivalent of two films.
The miniseries stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Rebecca Hall and Adelaide Clemens and the first trailer for it can be seen below. It’s about “a love triangle between a conservative English aristocrat, his mean socialite wife and a young suffragette.”
It looks like a higher budget Downton Abbey in a way, and many will likely flock to it because of that. Benedict Cumberbatch is seeing his star rise as of late, and he looks quite fantastic here.
