TV Ratings: 'Undercovers' Heads Straight for Demo Low

UndercoversABC shaded demo victory on Wednesday while CBS won in a blowout in total viewers. NBC placed second overall and third in adults 18-49. FOX got fourth place in both age categories followed by last and very least The CW.

NBC’s Undercovers continues the downward slide in adults 18-49: Another burn-off installment of the already canceled spy drama series reached 4.46 million viewers and a 1.0 rating/3 share among adults 18-49. This was an increase of 6 percent in total viewers but a loss of 9 percent in the demo, compared to a week ago. Needless to say, Undercovers hit an all-time low in adults 18-49.

Following Undercovers was a back-to-back repeat of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit which averaged 5.66 million viewers and a 1.3/4 among adults 18-49. CBS aired reruns of NCIS: Los Angeles (6.94 million viewers; A18-49: 1.3/4), Criminal Minds (9.29 million viewers; A18-49: 2.0/6) and The Defenders (6.53 million viewers; A18-49: 1.4/4).

Over at ABC, a repeat of The Middle opened the evening at a solid 6.39 million viewers and a 1.7/5 in the demo followed by a rerun of Better With You (5.22 million viewers; A18-49: 1.5/4). Afterwards back-to-back repeats of Modern Family scored the highest demo ratings on Wednesday with 6.11 million viewers and a 2.1/6 among adults 18-49. Back-to-back reruns of Cougar Town capped of the night at a disappointing 3.25 million viewers and a 1.4/4 in the demo.

FOX and The CW closed the evening with back-to-back repeats of Human Target (3.86 million viewers; A18-49: 0.9/3) and Hellcats (1.35 million viewers; A18-49: 0.5/1).
